Twitter and Facbook have been censoring, editing, and contextualizing political and legislative speech - manipulating elections. That makes them not merely a provider of a communication service but a publisher, editor, and content provider.
Section 230 provides them protection as merely a communications provider but not as a content editor. So they are liable for that second role and could have been properly sued years ago.
The issue is simply that Twitter has acted as both. But they are being legally treated as if they were only the communication provider and nothing else. So they are actually NOT protected from their editing by the law any more than they would be protected from theft or murder. These are two separate legal issues being conflated into one merely because both involve communication content. Protection from one does NOT provide legal protection from the other.
But Americans have been proven to be so corrupted and/or naive (or at times just plain stupid - in Eric Swalwell’s case all 3) that in the long run it doesn’t matter. The globalist preferred position is the “right” position regardless of anyone’s laws.

i made a twitter acct and the political stuff there moves much more quickly and in real time, and i see these guys all the time there. they’re in that little weird minority that bought the disinfo stuff lock stock and barrel. it’s a type. and they all think the same things, and they all get their “information” from the same places. these are the useful idiots that enemies of american democracy have programmed to advocate against their own interests. its really fascinating if you think about it. i mean this dude probably believes with all his heart and soul, that all the things he says here are true. doesn’t matter what’s happening in the real world…he doesn’t live there.
