The Law of the Übermensch

This is the main board for discussing philosophy - formal, informal and in between.

The Law of the Übermensch

Postby Fixed Cross » Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:37 am

What to the weak and sick seems a mere will to power is in the powerful lived as health and nothing besides. What to the uninitiated seems to be a will to something beyond, is to the initiate a will only to itself. A self-valuing integrity which maintains itself as a form of joy. Power is the result; a consequence in the technical sense only of not being weak. Dominion is not the result of conquest, conquest is the result of dominion.

So much for the niceties.

What is the consequence?
How does this knowledge produce the Superman?
Or is it again a case of the reverse?
Chicken, Egg, who cares, both are excellent.

This world is changing into what the prophets have foretold. Not the prophets of old, the prophets of the scientific era. There is only one way to get in on top; learn the Law of the Nietzschean Übermensch; the self-valuing Logick of the Fixed Cross, the value-ontology, the means to place your existence first, and your nonexistence last. It is a technicality of blood, sweat and tears; a well greased technicality if it is made to work at all.

Be well!
Learn my shit.
As it is rich with food for ye worms....

Fixed Cross, why do you always make it impossible for them?
“it was impossible, but the dragon was unaware...”
Thus it was done.
The world was created out of the sickness of its non-being; all Thou Shalts are Thou Shalt Nots. A first health, but not the last; as it is the last health that must destroy a world gone bad.

Worms or dragonseed?
You decide.
The strong act as they may, the weak accept what they must.
- Thucydides

No, seriously.

Let him take these provocative words defining and defending other provocative words and bring them out into the world of human interactions. Let him note how they propel him through his own days in his own relationships with others.

What on earth is any of this supposed to mean "for all practical purposes" when the "law of the Übermensch" meets, say, "the evening news" at the existential intersection of identity, value judgments and political economy.
He was like a man who wanted to change all; and could not; so burned with his impotence; and had only me, an infinitely small microcosm to convert or detest. John Fowles
