Plans for a religion

I think the cult - leader should be a voted threesome, every (Jupiter-) year all ILPers who subscribe to the religion vote new leaders. Then in a great feast we consecrate these leaders and drink some beer and kick some ass. Then we can just go home and be proud of ourselves.

Not a good cult leader post. A cult leader would tell us who the three people are, you being one of them in this example, and then enticing with proclamations, consciousness tools, earth changes lists...some juicy charismatic stuff.

Just giving you the cult leader 101, in a wry way. I certainly hope in your utopia there is room for a sense of humor. Without it there's a tyranny I can't abive.

Andrew and Dad's version of independence+privacy rejects my idea of a camp set up.
I will not throw away one of my most hopeful ideas.
It saddens me to see them not realizing a great opportunity.

Dad lets Paige live with Andrew on uncle's house for free.
But he would not offer me a free home also.
This is unfair. Someone is possibly insane.
All of that land, and home space, not being used or rented out.

Have you pushed your apotheosis by meditation?

Many meditate but few are rewarded to any worthy degree.

At least few admit that to me when I admit to apotheosis.

Finding the truth is oriented with enlightenment.

But enlightenment is often seen as a type of apotheosis itself.

I'm inviting some mormon missionaries and a few of their friends.

This will be the first "Food for Thought" Program.
We will bring food, and discus what ever we want.
We'll be visiting at my home.

I plan to make an upgraded version of this later.
This at present is a beta form.

It starts up this upcoming Saturday, at may start around 12 to 1pm.

It seems like my next step is getting to know my neighbors.
I was going to buy iced tea and visit on the week ends.
I could have done it sooner but i was distracted.
I mostly visit with the mormon missionaries.
This may eventually change once i get more contacts.
I shared food with the missionaries.
Once i made rice for them, with veggie and mushroom sauce.
Next I gave them double clam chowder.
I may share more food with them later on.

I've been to my local Buddhist Centre, where members are encouraged to bring (vegetarian) food to share for during the lunch break.. contributing to a like-minded community manifests ones feel-goods. I must go back.. I said I would.. I am leaving it for far too long to do so.

My neighbour's also do this.. our neighborly spirit is strong.

My good friend Joe seems to believe that everything in the universe is breaking down.

I told him there is a difference between decay and entropy.

Things break down into smaller more efficient processes.
Very slowly.

A cold universe would probably be immortal.
Once you're done "breaking down", no more destruction or disruption can happen.

Then around that, tents and campers.
And small houses.

Some people say this all is a bad idea.
I fail to see what is so wrong with setting up a camp-commune type of thing.

As far as my religion goes, it actually can be summed up fast.
Seek that which is best.

That is the Gnostic Christian way as well.

We may call god, I am, and yes mean ourselves, but the longer definition is the best rules and laws to live life with.

Gnostic Christianity uses some of the bible and quotes from Jesus and perhaps it would draw more Christians looking to get away from their genocidal satanic god and a more moral religion.

IOW, you would be offering an easier transition for those who still hold a tribal need or want.

IOW, fellowship and a mutual rejected past.

Religions are basically tribal units created to appease our tribal instincts and need for fellowship.

Do you think your methods will serve those needs?

Another quick question. Will you have a god that is based on logos or on mythos? On the supernatural or on reality and the natural?

Will you put man above god or god above man?

How can we realize what is best?
Some christians would cut strait to the source: God is the best, biggest, smartest, etc.
Without God what comes up second-place?
Life on earth, i would say.
Life is more frightening when God is gone.
Death can be accepted. Pain can be accepted.
But these things are not desirable.
If all life on earth suffered greatly, life would be a hell-like experience.
Death would be preferable in that case.
Pleasant life calls to us to embrace what we have.
Happy life is the preference over death and pain.

I'm not sure i know where i am going with this.
I posted it anyway.
