I was waiting for YOU to say that. It was predictable because that is what MSM is saying so ofcourse what you believe.

The issue is that what Mr Pence said was NOT what was being asked. No one was saying that Mr Pence should just pick what he wanted. What they were saying was

• 1) Allow for an investigation - Why not?
• 2) Mr Pence should ASK the State legislators which slates were legally valid.

In neither case was Mr Pence being asked to "make a unilateral decision".

When you hide what seems to be illegal actions - not allowing an investigation - YOU cause rebellion. And that seems to have been the intent this whole time. They tried to do this with the Russia hoax but Mr Trump let the investigation happen - so there was no rebellion.

The Socialist played it differently. They DID disallow investigations. They DID openly break the laws of the States and refused to do anything about it.

What is frustrating for me is that all of this misplaced energy on contesting the election fraud could be directed towards real, substantial change, if the 150MM Americans who voted could form a united front.

Instead, some megalomaniac comes along with populist rhetoric and convinces a bunch of rubes of all kinds of nonsensical claims, and takes advantage of real angst and frustration.

From conversations I've had, I have a lot more empathy with Trump supporters than others who share the same view of this situation. I was just watching an Epoch Times interview with a woman there. The sincerity with which she spoke of how frustrating it was to feel unheard, and to spend so much time, money and energy to get their families to travel to D.C. for what they believe is fighting for a just cause....it's heartbreaking. I am well aware that many of these people are genuinely good.

It gives me no pleasure to see people suffering and taken advantage of by a charlatan. Their suffering is real, the frustration and neglect they feel is real, and to see them being used as pawns in these political games is quite disgusting. What repels so many from sharing this sympathy, I think, is the virus that has been uploaded into these minds can be quite off-putting. Nobody wants to be called a communist because they don't like Trump (not that it even makes sense). Nobody wants to be called a socialist for not liking Trump. The insinuation that anybody who doesn't believe Trump with 100% conviction is not patriotic is not an extended olive branch.

So on the one hand, there is this large group of people who have goals and interest that are aligned with mine in terms of populism, but then that group is saying anybody who doesn't follow their messiah is a communist. I don't know how to resolve, or if it is possible.
