so, IQ45 had a town hall meeting yesterday....

and among the many lies, so many lies, he lied about
his pretend health care plan....he said it "was all ready"
but he has said that for 4 years now... and it will cover
"preexisting conditions" and meanwhile his lawyers have
been in several courts including the U.S Supreme court in
as part of many attempts to kill Obamacare.. but if he has
a plan, why haven't we heard it details?

he has said, I have a health care plan... great, lets hear it....
and then silence after that....so, either he has a plan, and then
let's hear it or he doesn't and then STFU.....

the town hall meeting btw, was a disaster for IQ45...

It's our - the American public's - fault that anyone can insult our intelligence in that way. Sad to say.

Trump lies. About everything. About anything. And who is to say the extent to which, given any particular lie, he is aware that he is lying and using it solely to sustain what he perceives to be his own political advantage. Or if, instead, as a deeply self-absorbed narcissist [if that's what he is] he is not even fully aware consciously of the fact that what he says is an actual lie at all. He merely says that which anchors "I" to the most comforting and consoling frame of mind psychologically.

But those opposed to Trump who are committed to pointing out all of the falsehoods he utters, surely by now must acknowledge that there are millions and millions of Americans out there who are not in the least interested in hearing that. Trump is seen by them as either the man who will Make America White Again or as the man who will sustain the wealth and the power of the conservative branch embedded in the crony capitalist ruling class.

So, for Biden and the Democrats, it really comes down to how effective they are in making that large swath of white working class Americans who rally behind Trump aware of just how and why his lies are detrimental to them in terms of economic security and jobs and health care and other such fundamental issues. The part some insist that Hilary Clinton fucked up on.

Still best captured in my view by Bob Dylan here: https://youtu.be/vxVH2WOy2DM

But: Biden not being Bernie Sanders, his commitment to more fundamental change in "the system" is considerably more problematic. So, how far is he really going to go in distancing himself from the more liberal branch of the crony capitalist ruling class.

And then of course the "value voter" "social" issues: abortion, gun control, capital punishment, animal rights, hunting, homosexuality, etc etc etc.

Here the arguments from both sides become all that much more problematic.

K: and it is our fault for not being able to speak the truth as we see it.....
if I call IQ45, an village idiot, which he is, then I am judged as
being unamerican, unpatriotic, anti-american........ I cannot stand outside
of the set/fixed possibilities offered by our current American society...

and that limitation is, in part, why we have this failure of intelligence in
America... to be intelligent in American is frowned upon and frankly, hated...

America has always been anti-intelligence... since the days before the founding fathers,
American has been against having intelligence... in the 1950's, Adlai Stevenson ran for
president of the United States and lost big time.. and one of the insults that
was hurled against him was "Egghead" and "Intellectual"...... and so what is wrong
about being smart in America and why do Americans so hate intelligence?

one of the reasons that Clinton lost was that she was seen as smarter then
IQ45 and that counted against her, not for her...... when it should have been
another mark for her being president......

it is too bad, Americans are so anti-intelligence.. that is, in part, why
we are in this dumpster fire of a president, because he is seen as equally
as smart as most American people when in fact, we need someone who is
quite a bit smarter then most Americans....
