He doesn't have the IQ for it. He knows this intuitively, but can't admit it to himself, because it would be a complete humiliation and loss of Pride/Ego. Instead he is drawn obsessively to you, and other "Objectivists", because he is a follower who seeks-out leadership, or an inferior who seeks-out a superior. Humans have an innate need for Leadership. I link this to Aryanism/Aristocracy/Nobility. To claim or premise "One Absolute Reality" would be the same as only using length as a measurement. You can only measure how long an object is. You cannot/should not measure depth, height. You cannot/should not measure weight. You should not measure pressure, stability, density, etc.

In turn, I am a hardcore polemicist. I thrive on provocative exchanges. But only with those whom, on at least some level, I have respect for their intelligence.

Then there's the part where I have always been drawn to objectivism. After all, for the preponderance of my life, I was an objectivist myself. But now that I am not, I still see the attraction. On the other hand, I figure to the extent I can expose the "psychology of objectivism" to others, there is always the possibility that, in abandoning it, they will grasp how this can only provide them with more options in life. And then to the extent that they become more "fractured and fragmented" themselves in regard to value judgments, there is a greater likelihood we can share that. Empathy let's call it.

And then, come on, only a small percentage of my time here is spent "giving a shit and feeling emotional about people". Instead, the bulk of my time is spent sustaining threads like this:
