That album title is brilliant : D

Good tunes.. thanks for the share. Gonna listen to it again this evening..

Ok.. on further introspection, I’ve realised I ain’t that old. I’ll go with a young Aunt. [what was I thinking]

..and oh what an intro it has. 3 and 10, 10 being about ‘all the craziest shit one’s doing, being the best memories’ ..probably a truism, and for the many and not just the few.

The only Deep Purple album my dad had in his collection was this one, and sometimes I would play it over and over. Honestly I listened to this at least 10 times more than I ever did Pink Floyd. At least. Pink Floyd always seemed too contrived. Here there is an insane amount of work, of dedication and effort and craftsmanship. But it doesn't feel contrived. It still feels like blues, Rock 'n Roll. Like if Led Zeppelin went to rehab.

Just the drumming is a masterpiece.

It's like when the lonely kid at school attaches to you because you pay it attention, but they are abused and stuff so they try to be as nasty to you as they can.

Iam, I didn't make you a commie!

That's because they are dearly hoping to see you humiliate me beyond repair.

Of course that's still too close to call, right?
