Dr. Dre's new album
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DpmN19J4eo
I cant even listen to 30 seconds of this without feeling my brain being raped.

NWA and 2Pac were great. So was the Wu Tang Clan and DMX. I still think they were great. But apparently not that great. Not as great as to spawn more greatness.

Or?

Do you not listen to new names/diversify your listening range of the genre to new sounds?

At least one new artist, has got one good gem.. if only at the very most.

I’m sure there’s one good track in Dr Dre’s new album that’s audible to you? Surely..

Ive tried and listened to hundreds of rappers the past decades. But I find that, upon reflection, they all suck.

Even Future, whom I artistically appreciate a lot, is so utterly nihilistic and primitive in his message that it depresses in the end.

Travis Scott the hottest rapper of the moment is good and yet, also completely nihilistic and primitive.

Still it gets worse when you listen to white rappers. Eminem, that is just soul-death reified.

I only like Masks Off.. the rest of his offerings are indeed pretty dire, for sure.

..again, only one or two of his tracks are good.. the rest, quite dire.

The song I think is most impressive lyrically is March Madness. He has some honesty in that, too. But on the whole it's, yeah, dire. Good choice of word.

I just heard that song first yesterday, no, the day before, in the car. I was rolling down a small country road and actually slowed down to listen to the track. I have to admit, it's good.

This sounds utterly obnoxious (not catchy at all)... So, of course, it has 94 million views... Literally sounds like every mass manufactured rap song with that same metallic insect sound repeating incessantly in soul crushing fashion.

Some decent rap songs:

Haha! dire.. it’s been my go-to choice of word for almost a decade..

Not really heard March Madness much around these parts.. it’s decent tho, yea :D

I just heard that song first yesterday, no, the day before, in the car. I was rolling down a small country road and actually slowed down to listen to the track. I have to admit, it's good.

There’s definitely a few good tracks out there.. just gotta hear out for them on some random video-sharing platform somewhere out there. Modern feels, modern dos.. modern woes? :|

Check this shit out, some rather radical cal white rap my cousin just sent me wondering what I feel at this,

And then this, a review of Drake, in general, and some album of his -
I agree with the dude on all accounts, Drake is where things started getting really bad for hiphop.

Big Ghost wrote:Ayo whattup…you now back in the presence of the one n only grand imperial Hands Of Zeus aka the illustrious Thor Molecules aka the mighty Cocaine Biceps…otherwise known as Shampoo Bracelets the panty melter…also known as the one n only Galaxy Knuckles or Broccoli Bundles the almighty… Yall might also kno me as ya boy Big Ghost aka Volcano Hands the inventor of slaps… Otherwise you might kno me as Phantom Raviolis or the grand immaculate Spartacus Deluxe. I kno what yall prolly thinkin…THIS N**GA DONE CAME UP…HE HOLLYWOOD…LOOK AT ALL THIS EXTRAVAGANTISM B…OH MY GAWD. I feel you my n**ga….I sense theres animosity n whatever whatever. I done started from the bottom n now Im here…straight up n down. I aint ashamed bout none of that. Im gettin this cake n Imma still be givin yall the raw uncut while I enjoy this luxurious splendor. Jus lemme flourish tho. Anyways yo….we aint here for all that so the gawd gon cut the introductions short so we can get this shit on n pippin.

Aight so once again we here to discuss the latest release from a dude who prolly gon need no introductions but Imma introduce him anyways namsayin…Yall might knohim as that owl-obsessed Aaliyah stan from the great white north wit the exotic budgie tat n the wild flamboyant hand gestures that makes bout 63 questionable facial expressions per minute while hoppin around on stage in a tank top who installed a a showerhead that sprays lavender scents into the air n a stripper pole in his crib n calls hisself Champagne Papi– but yo…hol up son… I mean only in this fake ass industry can you go from bein a silver spoon swallowin jewgro witta blend of melted butter n warm Ovaltine flowin thru ya bloodstream playin a paraplegic lame on a corny teen soap opera to becomin besties witta fake Blood who looks like a cross between a gremlin, a cabbage patch doll n a chupacabra n call yaself Champagne Papi n still be crazy respected by ya peers b… We talmbout a dude who done made songs so moist they could tenderize a steak if you left it in front of the speaker… Songs that could hydrate ya skin n cleanse ya pores n shit… Songs that could make swans appear at ya doorstep… Shit that could pasteurize milk. But yall guessed it…its the AJ Soprano of rap hisself…the 2013 Chandler Bing…the Human Rollerblade…Drizzy Drake.

Drake - NWTS reviewed by Big Ghost

I aint gon lie b…I aint what yall might call a “Drake fan” n shit. Matter fact most yall muthafuckas be like WORD YOU A DRAKE HATER B…which aint true. I actually appreciate a lot of what this beige muthafucka done accomplished in his career. I mean aint like I was a fan of ALL that shit but there was definitely joints that I was feelin since back in the Room For Improvement/Comeback Season era namsayin. Son wasnt whylin on some all the way corny shit back then tho. On the other hand he wasnt exactly what you might refer to as a n**ga you take too seriously neither. He kept it straight lightskinned n on some boy next door type shit n whatever. He was a “safe” n**ga. He seemed like the type of dude who actually knew what the fuck a backgammon board was for n shit. Son seemed like he done got busy witta pottery wheel at least a few times in his life before…shit like that. He seemed like a dude who would kno the difference between a dinner fork n a salad fork n might gon chuckle if he seen you usin the wrong one or some shit…the kinda dude who had hedgehogs or some other kinda exotic rodents growin up instead of a dog nahmean. He seemed like the type of n**ga who favorite hood flicks was Set It Off n Jason’s Lyric. Like he might coulda been the type to somersault down a hill laughin or make a short film of a plastic bag blowin round in the wind n have his friends come thru the crib to watch it n make smores n shit like that…the type of dude Alfonso Ribeiro would play on a tv show n shit.

Ayo fuck this nigga b. First off…this nigga gotta stop wit this lonely mobster image he tryin to portray these days yo. This nigga said this shit was bout him feelin like he a king tho. Son said “I used to stare at this world through a glass window and, like, two to three years later, I become a king in that world. That’s who’s sitting on that cover…” They give this nigga a muthafuckin goblet n a table for one witta candle n a bronze owl n now he runnin rap? Nigga ya respect from ya peers is as deep as the success you got in the mainstream. Aint nobody in rap lookin up to you like that cos you dope. Your success is whats dope to these niggas son. King tho? Fuck outta here b.

1. Over My Dead Body – A forreal….this sounds like the soundtrack to some Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants type shit son. I forget who the broad he got singin the hook on this muthafucka is…but i think its Renee Zellweger or some shit. I feel like Im inside a Barnes & Noble or a Starbucks b… This joint is more light in the ass than the fushigi gravity balls you see in those infomercials at 3 in the mornin son. But yo…how the first words that this nigga got the nerve to utter on this muthafuckin album gon be “I think I killed errybody in the game last year man”? Pardon me son? Word? You mean the same year that Kanye dropped another classic album in…while yo overrated ass uhhh….DID NOT? That year b? You mean the year when niggas predicted you was gon do a milli the first week out n you did 450k instead…n then a few days later Eminem dropped n he did like 750k in HIS first week n kept YOU from gettin back to the top of the charts? The same year that Em n Jigga won all the Grammys YOU was spose to take home? THAT year son? Oh.

2. Shot For Me – I dont even know what to say b. Like forreal…after hearin this shit…I wouldnt be surprised if this nigga could pollinate a flower wit his fuckin breath son. Im pretty sure that son gets up in the morning n plays his harp for his cats n then slides down the muthafuckin banister in his satin man nightie n has a full glass of breast milk before he goes to the studio n hammers out some pooned out shit like this b. Sons talkin to a broad thru the whole song on some bitter shit n at one point the nigga even says “The way you walk…thats me. The way you talk…thats me. The way you got your hair up…did you forget? Thats me” Son… Thats you? Aight then… But the boy aint done yet yo…at the end of the joint he proposes a toast. This is how that shit go…

4. Crew Love (ft The Weeknd) – Ayo I been startin to accept that maybe ALL these joints is gon be bitchmade son. Truth is I fucks wit The Weeknd tho b. The music on this shit aint that bad…but it aint really no kinda beat namsayin. But then here come Young Angel talmbout havin “soldiers” n niggas “who came up off the strip” for him n “come up off the hip” for him if he need em to. I mean……jus stop that shit son. Niggas kno ya pedigree b. Like you wasnt the little nigga ridin ponies n doin cartwhels in the backyard livin that upperclass suburban life before you became a Canadian teen soap opera star n shit b. Now you the nigga tuckin napkins in ya shirt while you eat cos you “mobbin like that” n orderin hits on niggas who disrespect you…jus stop it Aubrey. Son said “I think I like who Im becoming…” Im sayin the boy Aubs is startin to feel hisself a little too much b. Anyways son…when I thinks of Crew Love I think bout Beanie Sigel movin J Cole’s mentor out his way so he could body the fuck outta a glorious ass beat while Jiggaman in his prime delivers a hook that sticks to ya ribs namsayin. Thats what Im gon always think of son…

Here is his wrap up:

So thats the whole album son…or what Im gon refer to as that cascading waterfall of invisible dicks that sons fans call his music. Swear this nigga got the most forgiving fans on earth tho b. The nigga gets that exotic budgie tatted on his shoulder…”Nah chill…he jus doin him son”. The nigga drops a million odes to savin broads…”Ayo chill…son jus tryna live par”. The nigga starts rockin sweaters from 1983 Sears catalogs n shows up to awards shows wearin grandmother cardigans made from old sofas…”Nah chill…son jus stayin tru to hisself”…Im sayin b…the nigga could show up at a awards show wearin a unitard n niggas would still be like…”Jus let that nigga do him….he jus doin him son”. Yall muthafuckas should be ashamed of yallselves tho….for lettin it come to this shit in the first place namsayin. Yall LET this niggas get to the top like that. Im talkin to niggas who emcee too. Yall done allowed this nigga to come in the door…n now he done opened the floodgates to a million other soft ass muthafuckas jus like him son. Ayo nobody disrespected Father MC n Candyman like that back in the day b. Them niggas was makin careers outta droppin soft ass shit too. Dudes aint try to crush they whole existence or nothin…but niggas aint exactly say “Ayo Father MC n Candyman yall niggas should be showin the rest of us muthafuckas what direction to take Hip Hop in yo…”. But I dont even blame Drake b. That nigga SHOULD be able to have his lane. Its all good son. I hate that niggas music n he definitely that corny nigga at the club who pops open a bottle of champagne n then sniffs the cork…but he allowed to follow his dreams b. But yall niggas put that muthafucka on a pedestal. Like I said b…I dont blame Aubrey tho. Drake is what happens when ya son is conceived during a period week namsayin. That nigga was jus conceived on the wrong end of a menstrual cycle yo. These niggas gon always exist bruh. But I aint no follower son. If I dont like some shit…I dont jus rock wit it cos thats what broads be listenin to… n cos I want broads to be feelin me. Thats like sprayin yaself wit perfume jus cos chicks be enjoyin that shit…Yall effeminate ass niggas smarten up. Niggas always callin Drizzy homo tho. Im sayin yo…I dont think thats even the case b. N if it was…I aint judgin the nigga based on none of that yo. I mean…maybe son is kinda homo-esque. But either way par…this niggas masculinity been terminally ill for a hot minute now…that shits been on life support since Thank Me Later dropped b. But Im sure that muthafucka done kicked the bucket forreal wit this album son. If you niggas cop retail versions of this shit dont forget to take the cd in for a yearly pap smear b. Ayo fuck this shit son. Aight peace.

By the way yo…Imma give this shit…

this is a dude doing a cover of a song by a dude from alabama. the dude in this video got in trouble for saying the n word on camera, even though he was just drunk and calling his friend that. i don't even think he had the "er" like it ended with an "a" which is totally different. but now people are like ok yeah he's alright so it's not that bad. new-ish music that sounds like old music. not bad.

As far as rap being dead, lets take a moment:

THIS is rap,

There is a tremendous amount of rap in my native language, most of it these days is the soulcrushing moron purse-snatcher trap faggot slime but there used to be some hard songs, like this one.

Define "mind".
He was like a man who wanted to change all; and could not; so burned with his impotence; and had only me, an infinitely small microcosm to convert or detest. John Fowles

For sure, everyone started doing these crossovers then. I wasn't that much into it, as really what I loved first and foremost about hiphop is the funky ass basslines.

The strong act as they may, the weak accept what they must.

Snoop discussing the advent of mumblerap

"in the 90s no two niggas rapped the same. In the 2000s a hundred niggas rap the same"
Meaning, the art is deade, all thats left is copying.

Autoplay followed this up with a song from Eminem that piece of horrific absolute trash. He should never haver been allowed into the game, with his nasal whiney mother-disgracing trash. I mean I dont mean to insult trash. I just dont know how to call Eminems pale excrement.

I mean he got famous by degrading his own mother. Apparently thats what a white kid has to be ready to do to enter this form. To sell your soul tot he devil to get fame is one thing but this... absolute depravity... I admit listening to his shit when it came out. But in retrospect it always felt hollow, bleak. Though Lose Yourself is kind of an exception. Its the only song where he acts like a mammal and not some filthy toilet dwelling insect, and even tells his mom that he loves her.

Other than that he is a plague. What he has become, among the lowest human beings on the planet.
