Both Blow by Blow and Wired are excellent albums. Remember this is the guy who played guitar with rod Stewart. Not one of his better moments, certainly.
His style is very unorthodox and he's got these weird little bends way at the top of the neck that nobody else does.
But if I had a band and I wanted a certain sound, it would be modeled after this. Get the right equipment and the right room with the wainscoting, and you got it.
