The singer from Silverchair was 15 when the tracks above came out. Twenty years later his newest album references his response to the legion of Silverchair fans who have never forgiven him from going solo and commercial. I’m not a fan of commercial elevator music either but nearly two decades of hate because an artist transitioned into dance and pop music? Really?

It reminds me of the uproar when Dylan went electric and the Beatles went all Indian psychedelic. Perhaps it was lucky Hendrix died when he did? He was planning to write music with a symphony orchestra.
