Actually, in or not in a song, anything can't just happen. For example, there are the ubiquitous "laws of nature which often restrict what can happen.

Depends if you're open to the idea of multiple dimensions and infinite outcomes. Do I believe a unicorn exists in this universe, no. Do I believe a unicorn can exist somewhere else, yes! I can describe a unicorn in my mind, but that is beside the point.
