1: Sigur Ros (Epic shoegazing prog rock)
2: R.E.M (Middle of the road sombre rock)
3: Led Zepplin. (Classic Rock)
4: Talking Heads (Art School pop house punk)
5: Nirvana (Grunge)
6: NIN (Metal)
7: Radiohead (Melancholic electronic rock)
8: Counting Crows (Twee Americana Rock)
9: Popup (Glaswegian art school pop punk)
10: Jazz in general, Classical in general...

This list does not fit the criterion of Top Ten Classical Rock Bands. These are some of the bands and types of music that have had a great effect upon my ear and mind. The listing is Arbitrary - it does not necessarily imply order of rank.

Oh, you don't know either?

"False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils, except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." Well, one of those isn't technically even a band, it's just me being narcissistic.

If it makes you happy you can call it sarcasm. It makes me happy, so I do call it sarcasm.

You've got to admit that Shakira is an okay singer, though, especially for the genre of music she's in.

Yeah, haven't you heard the totally true conspiracy theory that an imposter decided to take her place? The actual Paris wouldn't be up to this stuff. The actual Paris, in fact, gave away all of her money to charity!
