I predict that you will believe in God again, just like you did before Vietnam.

Look, another Trumptard! I'm not a fan of Biden but clearly One-Pump Trump is headed for a bad end. If he does blow his brains out it would be kind of a beautiful, poetic ending to his story. History not repeating but rhyming.

For the record, I'm not a neo-liberal, I'm a real liberal. :evilfun: Probably too much to hope that Biden will commission a new fleet of National Razors to process a few million cucks and assorted Trumptards into fertilizer. He's pretty much just a slightly less racist Republican, not the socialist America needs.

Why is it that everybody assumes I'm a Trump supporter? No, I'm a neutral observer with my own agenda. 8) I truly don't like either of them just as I don't like either political party.

Well, you're talking to somebody that despises both classical liberalism and neo-liberalism, so really, it doesn't make much of a difference to me what you call yourself.

This feud between left and right isn't over, just because a centrist (whatever that means) occupies the Whitehouse, on the contrary, it only accelerates.
I don't know exactly how it's going to play out, but it will play out.
The poles will continue to grow while the equator shrinks.
Between those who want a great reset, agenda 2030, to build back better on the left, and those who want to return to nationalism, constitutionalism and libertarianism on the right.
There are some people who aren't happy with either camp, but they're on the margins, the sidelines, and unless there's a radical shift, they'll continue to be.
Myself while I don't fully identity with either side, I much prefer the nationalists, constitutionalists and libertarians over the globalists.

The old America of the last 75 years is already dead, the old normal.
What happened in 2016 divided the country, and everything that happened in 2020, agenda 2030, build back better, the great reset, further divided it.
What many see as a fake, exaggerated or opportunistically exploited pandemic, the Marxist Antifa and BLM riots, the contentious election...
America, and the world for that matter, is pulling in largely two different directions.

gloominary my friend why did you not invite me to this thread???did not know you are posting!!!
Kvasirs Mexican gay lover(writing about a need of committing a genocide on 99 percent whites and all non-whites as a Mexican mestizo himself):
And if they are not good, what could be wrong with the genocidal fantasy in my ‘Dies Irae’, published in Day of Wrath, with a vindictive Star Child calling home 500 million Caucasoids (and of course, all non-whites, including Jews) to, ironically, make sure that Dave Lane’s words be fulfilled with the remaining Aryans?.
My step-dads schizophrenic diagnosis:
I see a disease taking over....I will not stay silent. I will do what I can, when I can.
If we do not stand then we shall fall....and the enemy will win.

Remember: the world will end, all there is that is left is to fly between Canada and Greece and have barbecues and drink vodka before you wake up at 40 and remember to have a son who will be 30 when you are 70 and whos children will be 20 when you are 90. paGAYn as fuck.

Joe Biden isn't really a moderate, he's the puppet candidate and administration to roll in the new world order with China at the helm.

He's basically being installed to crush any and all American resistance or insurrection against globalism. I expect a lot of draconian laws to be put into place under his government.

You forgot to note that I want to believe in God again.

That gains me...immortality? And, if God is both intelligent and fair, He will recognize that my arguments over the years [about Him and other things] were derived only from a sincere and honest effort to understand my "self" in the world around me. Granting me access to paradise for all of eternity. A place where there is no human pain and suffering anymore. And, in turn, the explanation from Him as to why human pain and suffering runs rampant "here and now". Given that He is often described as "loving just and merciful".

I predict that this fulminating, fanatical cartoon character will still be a chickenshit this time next year.

Also, that he will just shrug off the fact that yet another slew of predictions from him here and now collapsed into a preposterous heap and insist that 2022 will be the year when he finally gets to wallow joyfully in the agonizing pain and suffering that an actual collapse will bring to millions.

As the Dow hits 50,000.

Uh, define "soon"?

Would you like me to define chickenshit?

Well, among other things, it's a Joker who doesn't walk the talk.

In not going here, for example:

Though, sure, the invitation is still open. Let us explore the manner in which he construes himself by focusing in on these things:

1] there is a "real me" and there is a set of moral and political values that encompass objectively "the right thing to do". You thought it was one thing, then another, then another.

2] there is no "real me" and there is no set of moral and political values that encompass objectively "the right thing to do". Instead "I" here is embodied subjectively/existentially in dasein, in moral and political prejudices...in the arguments I make for it/this in my signature threads; and specifically in this thread: https://www.ilovephilosophy.com/viewtop ... 1&t=176529 .

And this part:

Also, once you change your moral and political frame of mind, you are acknowledging that you were once wrong about the is/ought world around you. And, once you acknowledge this, you are acknowledging that, sure, you might be wrong again. You are acknowledging that, yeah, given new experiences, new relationships and access to new information, knowledge and ideas, you might be prompted to change your mind again. And again.

And this part:

So, what I suggest is that we focus in on a particular set of circumstances in which we can examine our respective moral and political philosophies. Given all of the points we raise above.

And, most important of all, I'm less interested in what you or I believed/believe regarding all of the things you and I were/are, and more interested in how exactly you and I would go about demonstrating to others that all rational men and women are obligated to think and feel the same.

And especially this part:

You say that "here and now" you are a "polytheistic pagan Gnostic with an affinity for mysticism, the esoteric, and the general occult. I lean kinda towards pantheism."

Okay, let's zero in on a particular context, a particular set of "conflicting goods" in which as this you now choose one set of behaviors that you would not have chosen as one of the many things you once were previously.

As this relates to my own interest in philosophy: morality here and now, immortality there and then.

And as it relates to your interests.

Yup, I agree.
Joe, along with most republicrats, was always a shill for the crony capitalist establishment, but these days, the establishment are moving us from softcore tyranny to hard, but with an old, familiar face, to disarm us.
For better and worse, the normal we had post-WW2 is dead, it's dead because it grew unsustainably corrupt, now it's just a question of which new normal we're going to get, either something like MAGA, or agenda 2030/build back better/the great reset, or something else, another ideology, or perhaps the complete destruction of the US, and the western world altogether, maybe even civilization as we know it.
Of course the left wants to make it like it's just one man, just Trump, but a majority of republicans, both laymen and politicians alike now believe the election was stolen from them, and they don't want to live in this new normal the globalists are building.
This conflict isn't going away, whether Trump ultimately peacefully leaves the Whitehouse or not.
The details I'm less sure of.
