There is a California medley vegetable mix same as there are Japanese vegetable mixes. I buy these all the time. I was simply naming the different ingredients I added to my chili. Usually in the States, we use red beans and kidney beans instead of only black beans. Hmmm, I wonder how butter beans would taste? Next time, I’ll try those.

polishyouthgotipbanned wrote:1 kg of pork loin
2 tablespoons of flour to coat the meat
300 g of mushrooms
4 onions
4-5 pickled cucumbers - I add more since they taste so good cooked
1/2 cup cucumber pickle - this did not translate it basically says pour half of a cup of that jar water into
1 red pepper
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp tomato puree 30%
2 liters of broth
2 bay leaves, balls of allspice, a few balls of pepper - this one did not translate properly. balls are the pre ground form of the spice
1 teaspoon of garlic
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of mustard
5 tablespoons of oil
flour to thicken the soup
100 ml of thick cream
polishyouthgotipbanned wrote:ridiculously cheap...consider that in Europe, in some countries people make 4-10 times less and the costs is about the same, if not slightly higher.
