For me its escapism 100%. Its obvious that we are all in the same boat though to verying degrees.

Happiness is personal; Searching for it as a group will only bring that safe, community escapism with you on your search it is an individual journey so when I finally decide get out the boat and see if I'll sink or swim I'll let you know

Well I don't think I could find happiness with someone else tagging along but I can't be too sure I have a vague idea of what I'm looking for and I don't have a clue where to find it and when/ if I find it how to obtain it without stripping myself of my personality

"Tagging along"? Im a stranger on a message board who will NEVER meet you in real life. We are two people searching for happiness I guess. There is a 99% chance that we won't find it together. Whats the harm though in a correspondance of sorts?

Due to having had to go to the hospital, and am currently 'foggy' to say the least, I will attempt to put this into a coherent statement (They never warn you that Flexeril (sp?) relaxes your brain too).

I post on message boards for five simple reasons:

1: There is no judgement, there is no retribution, no one shall burn me at the stake, as it were,

2: When you can barely walk, what would you do? Online games can only be amusing for so long.

3: I went to war for this country... yet any time I speak my mind or mention my ideas I am treated as an outcast of society... as the song goes:

"So damn proud of me, all they see is medals and scars"

4: As I do not believe in intellectual property, I truly hope some of my ideas may one day find themselves in the hands that could put them to use.

5: You can stop a river with a pebble, if you know precisely how to do it... This gives me a chance to learn how to place the pebble.
