I was always impressed by Detrop/Brian's flamboyant Narcissism and Extroversion on display on this forum. He has an opposite personality of my own, which favors Humility and Introversion. So it's very foreign and alien for me to 'hype' myself up and put myself on public display. But there's a very severe advantage in life to See others, but not to be Seen. On the other hand, individuals must Engage in life, with life, and against life. There's no point staying on the Sidelines indefinitely.
The other factor that I have, is that in "real life", people tend to react to me as a very Authoritative type. It means that people, even and especially Strangers, tend to take me very seriously and are highly respectful, based on first-appearance. There's something to this. If mere Appearance is enough to demonstrate auras and perception of 'Authority', then what would it mean to actually back-up appearances with Substance? What would it then mean to take account to what is Said, or what is Thought and Believed, such that others maybe deeply-affected by these?
Detrop was/is more simple-minded though. His mind, so preoccupied with his self-image and self-perception from others, doesn't go that 'far' in terms of morality and ethics. And I proceed from this presumption, against the rest of this forum, and who each poster is "in real life", as-if any of you could truly "hide" yourselves here! Pro-tip: you can't, even if you wanted to. When it comes to any decent Philosophy, or any mediocre attempt at it, Philosophy immediately and relentlessly Unveils the mind that wields it. It can be a powerful weapon. It can also self-destroy, when improperly handled.
When it comes to Society, you are forced to interact with others and Compete for a spot on the Grand Hierarchy, the Ancient Pyramid of Souls & Spirits. I reject the role of Follower/Introversion when the Lead/Extrovert role is open.
Charisma is essential, and there's something about the Charm of innocence, that non-Philosophers have.
Something about Philosophy, and the ability to Dance, combined....
