Elevate form over function to get at less easily articulable truths.

Days have flown
Like a spooked flock
Of timid birds,
leaving only few
Unruffled among the leaves.

My two mentors
Left before
That rise of flight,
Knowing how speedy days
Must follow.

So I am left
Among the few things
Remaining as to what
Can allow.

Less is more
Says the Tao,
Causing me to call
Once more upon
My prodigal muse.

Birds light again
In safe places.
I raise my voice
For finding song again
In settling.
"We must love one another or die." W.H.Auden
I admit I'm an asshole. Now, can we get back to the conversation?
From the mad poet of McKinley Ave.
