Reflection on Reflection

Postby Ierrellus » Sun Nov 29, 2015 2:17 pm

I push a cheek and fumble with a wen.
They say, of course, that mirrors never lie.
They tell me either chemistry or sin
Distorts the feeling focus of an eye.

I opt for sin in optical debates,
For vanity is sober, sold or bought;
And in this blur such commerce creates,
I still see no reflection but a thought.
"We must love one another or die." W.H.Auden
I admit I'm an asshole. Now, can we get back to the conversation?
From the mad poet of McKinley Ave.
