One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple.” “Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry.” “There was nowhere to go but everywhere, so just keep on rolling under the stars.” “I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till i drop."

"so just keep on rolling under the stars" but no dice.
Take this kiss upon the brow! And, in parting from you now, Thus much let me avow — You are not wrong, who deem That my days have been a dream; Yet if hope has flown away In a night, or in a day, In a vision, or in none, Is it therefore the less gone? All that we see or seem Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar Of a surf-tormented shore, And I hold within my hand Grains of the golden sand — How few! yet how they creep Through my fingers to the deep, While I weep — while I weep! O God! Can I not grasp Them with a tighter clasp? O God! can I not save One from the pitiless wave? Is all that we see or seem But a dream within a dream?
Meno_ wrote:"Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done"

The above kind of reminded me of the below Simon and Garfunkel song - about shifting responsibility for something or someone to anyone but one's self. I always thought it was a very sad, beautiful and poignant song. Poor little sparrow.
Who will love a little Sparrow Who's travelled far and cries for rest? "Not I", said the Oak Tree "I won't share my branches with no Sparrow's nest And my blanket of leaves won't warm her cold breast"
Who will love a little Sparrow? And who will speak a kindly word? "Not I, " said the Swan "The entire idea is utterly absurd I'd be laughed at and scorned if the other Swans heard"
And who will take pity in his heart? And who will feed a starving Sparrow? "Not I", said the golden Wheat "I would if I could, but I cannot, I know I need all my grain to prosper and grow"
Who will love a little Sparrow? Will no one write her eulogy? "I will", said the Earth "For all I've created returns unto me From dust were ye made and dust ye shall be"
