Think about it.

K: and that is completely irrelevant to the thread we are in....
what are your beliefs and why those beliefs... commitment
to asking yourself about the why and the context of your beliefs.....
not the "facts" which is completely unimportant to this thread.....
facts are actually unimportant in our lives....for facts can change,
often and quickly... what can we be certain about? not facts.....
2 + 2 is 4 is not important to our lives... it doesn't create certainty
and it doesn't create context to our lives.. it is just a fact and facts
don't really matter....the point isn't the facts, but what about those
facts that can lead us to wisdom.... the knowledge with what to do
with the facts, not the facts themselves...
fact is in about 15 days, Biden will be president and your fact will be wrong....
so what? the point is to the context and what it means that IQ45 is president today
and gone tomorrow....
think about why and context, not facts...

Facts don't change, Peter. They will always exist in their timeframe.

I’ve said this three times on this board and I’ll say it again...
The entire science of capitalism is to figure out how to hold the most capital without revolt. Billions of dollars are spent on this science just to add one fucking more dollar to a billionaires wallet. The investment is paying off. These are first and foremost, business people. Spending billions to make 1 more dollar makes perfect sense to them.
Phoneutria, you are extremely naive about this and I’m giving you the intelligence to understand it

How about your own level of awareness, Dan?
Name a truth of your own. Then, given the framework I noted above, let's explore it.
Or, sure, note a framework other than my own.

Next up: Wendy nails down all the facts below too. Let's call them, say, Truths.
You believe "here and now" that Trump is a great president. And that one of his greatest accomplishments was his response to the covid pandemic. Or you believe that the covid pandemic itself is all just a Big Brother, globalist scam.
Okay, demonstrate that all of this is true objectively. For everyone.
And, no, it doesn't count to insist that just believing it is all the proof you need.
What? The "here and now" president is Trump. On January 20, 2021 the presidential inauguration occurs and until then it's President Trump. Sorry Biggie, laugh all you want and continue "acting" as a serious philosopher with all the ugliness you usually pile on in your wit. Go ahead.

To me it was clear that i was talking about the good kind of truth that is within our material bodies.
I'm not in spiritual clouds. Not at all.
I could reword it, but i worded it just fine already.
I don't need to reword my post.

Meanwhile, border residents — members of the Tohono O’odham Nation as well as local ranchers and environmentalists — have grown increasingly angry and demoralized as it becomes clearer that the administration is determined to build as much of the wall as possible before Election Day.
On Feb. 13, another 31 new border projects were announced, signifying the planned construction of 177 miles of wall in areas previously thought to be too rugged or isolated. Much of it will replace old pedestrian fencing and vehicle barriers, though other projects will break new ground.
Once completed, for the first time in U.S. history, the barrier will physically wall off the majority of New Mexico, Arizona and California, an area stretching from the Rio Grande to the Pacific Ocean. What once seemed like a pipe dream has become as concrete as the barrier itself. A triumph for the Trump administration, it’s regarded as a tragedy for the border communities that call the region home, as well as the more than 93 endangered and threatened species that live in this desert.
As Trump's border wall tops 450-mile goal, CBP chief says more wall is coming
"So in addition to the 450 that we’ve already got on the ground, we’ve got funded 350 miles of wall system to go in the ground," he said. "The overwhelming amount of those miles, that funding, the contracts have already been awarded."
The news of the DOJ's fruitless investigation comes just a few months after the State Department completed its own investigation into Clinton's emails and use of a private server, which found that while 38 individuals did commit 91 security violations in emails sent to or from the private server, ultimately the server largely wasn't used for transmitting classified information. “While there were some instances of classified information being inappropriately introduced into an unclassified system in furtherance of expedience, by and large, the individuals interviewed were aware of security policies and did their best to implement them in their operations,” a report on the investigation said. “There was no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.”

You can't possibly be this dense. You're putting me on right?
As though it is silly or irrelevant to make a distinction between stating that in fact -- in truth -- Trump is now president of the United States...and that in fact -- in truth -- Trump is a great president.
And yet I suspect that in your head there is no distinction at all. And that is because it would seem that you are one of my objectivists. Being in sync with your own Real Me, Core Self and/or Soul is tantamount to be in sync with the Truth morally and politically.
And once someone reaches this point the psychology of objectivism kicks in: https://www.ilovephilosophy.com/viewtop ... 5&t=185296
