Nike's Pattern in Soles Insulted Islam?

Postby Prismatic567 » Fri Feb 01, 2019 8:32 am

This ridiculous complain is due to Muslim apologists placating and appeasing to Muslims' demands in various aspects involving Islam.

Apparently a certain Muslim imagined there is a word 'Allah' in Arabic in the sole pattern of a Nike shoe.

A small but growing number of Muslims are putting Nike’s feet to the fire.
Two weeks ago, someone who goes by the handle Saiqa Noreen created a petition calling on Nike to pull the Air Max 270 shoe immediately, because she noticed a small section of the sole that looked similar to the Arabic word for Allah.

In her petition description, she said that the inscription was particularly offensive because it is on the bottom of the shoe, where it will “surely be trampled, kicked, and become soiled with mud or even filth.”

It is not exactly and precisely representing 'Allah' as it does not exclude the necessary dashes.
Humans has this natural tendency to see various patterns everywhere, e.g. faces in sandwiches, on the moon, etc.

In this case Nike never had the intention to use the term 'Allah' in any context, it happened there is something VERY crudely similar to the word - الله‎ - 'ALLAH in Arabic" when their 'AIRMAX' word is turned upside down.

The problem is actually with Islam the ideology which inherently heighten the level of threat awareness in their believers. In the Quran, Muslims are reminded and brainwashed to believe the religion is the most superior and is always under threat from non-Muslims and any threat should be dismissed if necessary with killings.
This is why many were killed merely because cartoons of their prophet were drawn.

What if Nike did this on purpose to make the people happy who were burning all thier nike shit when they supported the football player who was kneeling to protest police brutality?

So you got this whole bunch of people who are apparently pro police brutality who were so offended when nike used this football player as a spokesperson that they threw away or burned all their nike shit. But those same people usually hate muslims, so nike pisses off the muslilms to make it even and now those people have to buy all new nike shit. It's genius.

Nike did respond to the above and deny any deliberate intentions on their part.

Nevertheless, it is possible. But note Nike has been accused of such before and had to withdrawn certain type of shoes earlier. As such I believe it is not likely Nike would take such a gamble to expose themselves to badwill within a potential market population of 1.5 billion Muslims.
