What's for dinner?

Leftovers from yesterday’s dinner… braised tender Spring oxtail, with carrots and butternut squash

Last batch, for tomorrow’s dinner…

Eating a cold steak with my hands, lol, using cutlery seemed very unpleasant for me and the steak.

Hahaha… I always start eating oxtail with cutlery, but soon quickly descend into eating it with my hands… but steak, very rarely, haha!

Enjoy your Friday… I am!

Lemon, garlic & thyme sautéed chicken breast, with a carrot & ginger julienne-slaw. Filling…

Browned beef tips and onions in olive oil to be stewed with spinach and served on caucasian rice.

Pumpkin pie (read; two slices)

Italian ice (read; strawberry)

A lamb bolognese, with spaghettied-courgette… was delicious… plenty of garlic and herbs.

Yesterday’s left-over roasted chicken wings, reheated on the hob together with fresh pineapple slices, and served with a carrot and ginger slaw… very filling.

Sliced chickenbreast smothered in sambal, garlic and ketjap intense-fried in butterspiked olive oil and some whiskey.

PORK OFF THE GRILL

plus raw greens and tomato.

Carrot n ginger slaw & chuck steak stirfry, with garlic n green chilli.

My red meat cooking game, is getting strong.

In the fridge I put it, theres sambal, whiskey and honey in there, soaking into a chopped up steak, ill fry it later on

I had it soak 24 hours and threw it in a red hot pan, let it smother.

From some time last week…

The lamb shoulder was nice n rare in the middle, and the Organic carrots… al dente

An aromatic Lamb burger, and carrot and ginger slaw… eating clean and green… all planet organic and free-range and that.

A takeaway… of Tandoori Mini mixed-grill… would hate to see the size of the Normal, Bombay aloo paloong… the remainder of which I’ll have tomorrow, 2 poppadoms, and a mango chutney dip.

Oh, and a detox-tea, to go with…

Why the boiled egg, and why does the pickle look like a slug?

The boiled egg is a ceremonial custom my pagan ancesters have practiced for nine generations. Anytime the western capitalist empire begins approaching a socialism and falls into nihilistic abrahamic degeneracy, we eat a boiled egg on the 23rd of every September to remember and commemorate our roots. My grandfather ate a boiled egg in that very egg server when the new deal was signed.

The pickle is actually a giant chloroplasmic space slug from another solar system. You almost nailed it.

I think you might well be fibbing, as that’s a very tall tale you tell,
but it has a touch of the deja-vus, so it could well be an annual occurrence,
a happening that has been documented before… in the land of Prom.

A belated Bon Appetite… coz I fell asleep.
