My non-tired reply is: I appreciate the dulcid tones of their lyrical Korean offerings of song, combined with their traditional musical style, to create music that I wish to fill my senses with.
I’ve never been into Western boy/girl bands… K-pop and K-rap is not comparable, and should therefore never be compared, to them.
Northern feels… how they sound t’up North. Cool tune still. The singer’s voice is so… uh oh!

Their songs were always too happy for me… happy songs annoy me, the same as feel-good movies do. 
Again, too upbeat for my tastes… back then, my playlist mainly consisted of house and hardcore hip hop, rare groove, dance and electronic, and U.K. independents… though I was into some Brit-pop lol.
K-pop bands are notorious for plagiarising off of American rap and R&B artists, so no surprise there… I still prefer the K-pop band tbh… Mars is too happy for my liking.
Not bad… a bit too slightly upbeat for my liking though, lol. Might see what else they’ve released, as might be a few gems amongst em.
In order to avoid a psychic meltdown where upon I go medieval on a nigga during the present world crisis, I’ve decided to take five shots of Jim Beam, go walking, and listen to something about you over and over and over again. And I’ll tell you why. When I wuz around eleven or so, I used to go down to Shannon’s house and meet up with her to look for eastern painted turtles in the creek behind her house. It was this song that topped the charts at that time, and any time I hear it I’m transported back to that creek hanging out with Shannon looking for turtles. And there was something about Shannon, so right. I couldn’t be there without her.
