Well that, and more besides… I’ve seen heard and read more than I bargained for or cared to, after emerging from a torpor into a World that now seems alien and more divisive than ever before.
My experience with the world, thus far, tells me that torpor is preferable to normality 
it offered an obliviousness to all things, but it couldn’t last forever… a shame, that.
The U.S. is still the reengining hyper-Power…and it is in decline so it is in a panic, its elites fighting over how to manage this decline in the next century.
This is what all this Hollywood counter Washington, Einstein, Weinstein, Trump impeachment, is all about.
When the alpha-male is old the pack or troupe is in turmoil, because dominant males keep the peace and his decline makes younger males anxious to take his place.
What you are experiencing is on a global scale the decline of an Empire.
It’ll take a while and it will be a tumultuous time, full of the usual, conflicts, superstitions, end of the world announcements, Messiahs, on every town square, social madness, confusion, turmoil rising ignorance and desperation…etc.
This has happened before on a much smaller scale.

The last day of this year will be my last post.
Many of you will be relieved to return ILP to its usual insane asylum institutionalization.
Then, maybe, some of the clowns can return for an encore performance.
Will I return?
Who knows? Don’t plan to. Life can be so unpredictable.

You miss a few years outta life, and emerge, into a world gone mad… missing/not being part of, the transition, allows for an immediate and ongoing comparison to be made, but having missed the physiological adjustments that others have had a chance to make, self-optimisation becomes necessary in manually-making those adjustments instead… an outsider looking in, at reality, but not quite feeling part of it… not that I really want to, considering…

Such shifts happen gradually, if no unexpected traumatic event dopes not occurs…like the explosion at Thera obliterated the Minoans almost overnight.
The length of time it took for an empire to dominate and ascent, is a good standard top use when trying to calculate how long it will take for ti to return to its original state.
The tricky part is evaluating tis high point its Golden Age.
I placed it between 1956 and 1996…around the time the soviets collapsed, placing the Baby boomers right t the middle - 1960’s.
That’s 200 years uop….so 200 years down, give or take a generation ro two.

I don’t see any threat any way you slice it? On top of that, ZS who should grow some balls says you in your PM to me, enjoys Aegeans company and is something of a fan as am I.

So many on here don’t like such aspects of their familial life being talked about too openly, is all… including ZS, I recall… so coo coo, no… heard it all on here before, yes… I have great clarity of mind, you see, never having had the need for any meds. I am not the first to read such a thing into a post, and I certainly won’t be the last… it happens, you know.
