It might not re-arise as a single unit. It would likely have a strong military format, at least for a while, given that they could maintain order. Then it will be what they are will to transition to. Unless there are different military factions and these gain control of different regions. And then within these regions what each military power is willing to transition to, if they are.
I truly doubt these regions will break down into racially pure subunits. We are way too bonded over race and culture lines. And the military is mixed. I don’t think the main power factions will break down over racial lines, though there would like be racial aspect to the chaos.
National socialism, the only one we’ve seen in action for any length of time, with any broad influence, was centered on one charismatic leader. That might happen, or it might be more like juntas. You might get Balkanization.
The whole thing might pave the way for single world government, if the chaos was widespread enough. There is also a chance of larger scale wars with weapons that mess things up for most people and most life.
It takes six to seven days without food for civilization or society to transform into utter chaos.
Almost sixty five percent of the entire United States has no savings less than $500.00. [Not that it would help them when money becomes worthless overnight anyways.]
What are they going to pay the military in? You forget ex military veterans, police, and law enforcement in your equation. Most military personnel are going to be concerned for their own family and well being with the continuity of government being damned.
Some regions most definitely will but not all of them.
It will start as multiple exceedingly angry white juntas until a charismatic leader emerges that unites those multiple angry white juntas into a singular unified organized political movement or force.
They’ll probably try for a world government with the collapse of the United States but that will only give more fuel for western nationalists and juntas even more. That would be like pouring gasoline on the global dumpster fire making it burn much more brighter. Of course they’re going to try all the same.
China is trying to become the new United States worldwide [Only the communist and Asian version] in replacing the former one. Nobody in this country would ever accept Chinese rule or dominance, that much I can tell you right now.
They think differently, grounded in ages, their seeming arrogance is merely a deep honesty about where things are going for them, which is in the direction of playing a great part in the development of the unified world. But their assumption of their own superiority is rooted in the deeper assumption of plurality. They arent “Chinocentric” in the narcissistic sense, their plan isn’t to usurp the whole planet and make it speak Chinese. This wouldn’t be in their interest. Their interest namely is to be China in a world of nations, and be thereby the greatest among many. They aren’t monolithic - appearances to that effect are distortions in the vision of what is actually our own power expanding.
The Chinese Communist party does not advocate transgenderism, for example.
By our standards its social ethics would satisfy the Christian right and Silicon Valley, things are arranged differently there.

This world is a body of which all these nations are part.
But does it make sense to replace all the organs of the body with a gigantic “central organ”?
We as West tried to control the whole planet as far as we could which is a lofty effort, the big leap for mankind. What this did was awaken other people to the prize of global fame and renown, and now we have a very active brew of very savvy nations of eager people, a lot could be done. Right now capitalists don’t know yet of the markets that are disclosed by thought about true global hedonism.
True hedonism. No escapism but rather confrontation.
I like to think of Russia and China quarantining the United States off letting us fight it out whereby negotiating with the new government(s) afterwards.
I don’t think either nation is crazy enough in wanting to inherit the social, political, and economic problems of the United States before or after its demise.
That would be favourable, as the US would be forced to entertain only business interests in its own continent, America, and this would be completely sufficient to any needs a superpower has. Europe would lose its vassal status and would come to terms with Russia which is part of Europe after all, and China would have to throw itself on Africa. Which would then become a contested thing and Europe would intervene to secure its own access there, and Africa would become a coveted place.
European bilateral trade relations with Russia in access to Chinese international markets. [However Europe might face its own civil wars.]
Meanwhile the next fifty years consists of civil war within the United States which will ultimately split apart into six or seven new nations via Yugoslavia on a much greater scale.
Russians and Chinese don’t intervene other than watching from all three coasts. If the U.N. or any nation intervenes in the civil war they’ll quickly find themselves shot at by the various factions doing the fighting amongst each other, so why bother with sacrificing the manpower or expending capital when they’re content on just watching from afar? They might however aid various factions they favor in the new American civil war dispute with weapons, food, medicine, or resources. [There’s a neat idea.]
Unfortunately for Canada it too will end up in the crossroads of an American civil war as well as there will be spill overs into its territory or overall region, sorry Fixed Cross and Pedro.
When somebody is born into a particular type seldom do they ever develop the capacity to understand, much less accept the legitimacy of other types, is it not then just a war of biological differences.
The only way to avoid them would be on the fringes, the vast expanse of forest. Which would in the end be absolutely no different from your own decade of poverty. Be the exact same thing.
Of course they’re going to try all the same.
