Obviously I'm not the most perceptive poster since I'm only now discovering this thread

But I vote Carleas because he's the most likely to concede points in earnest aspiration for truth and I think his respectful style of interaction with members should be a model for us all.

If we're talking ferocious, that would be Urwrongx1000.. I'm not saying he's always right, but he would be the most ferocious in defence of his argument.

I will post an update commentary on the current positions thus far.. exciting, I know :)
The possibility of anything we can imagine existing is endless and infinite

I haven't got the time to spend the time reading something that is telling me nothing, as I will never be able to get that time back, and I may need it for something at some point in time. Wait! What?

He relents and will stop replying after a while, but Prism won't give up. He'll argue about what it means to be a Christian until Christ returns lol

Is being ferocious good or bad?

A dictionary definition which looks generally negative (in my opinion) :
Ferocious:
1. savagely fierce, as a wild beast, person, action, or aspect; violently cruel
2. extreme or intense

Fierce :
1. menacingly wild, savage, or hostile: fierce animals; a fierce look.
2. violent in force, intensity, etc.:fierce winds.
3. furiously eager or intense:fierce competition.
4. Informal . extremely bad or severe:a fierce cold.

I'm guessing, that like most things, it may have it's pros and it's cons.. depending on the circumstance at hand. :confusion-shrug: One-dimensionality probably pigeon-holes, whereas a multi-faceted character has more to play with.. probably.

Karpel Tunnel still out in front holding the lead,

with WendyDarling now in 2nd place.. who are both pulling away from the pack,

and Gloominary now fallen behind in 3rd.. so is now neck and neck with Serendipper,

with MagsJ and Iambiguous right behind them in 4th place,

with the remainder all trailing behind in last, with no also-rans.. final results dependent on any subsequent votes.

This is a tough challenge. Anyone who's astute enough has found amazing utterances from everyone at times, so, then it becomes about "bedside manner".

I'll vote Karpel - least likely to get feathers ruffled, most likely to engage.

Whoops, missed this nugget! Quite surprising I must admit.

Gloom, you got my vote for being sane and reasonable without sarcasm or flippancy.
I AM OFFICIALLY IN HELL!

I live my philosophy, it's personal to me and people who engage where I live establish an unspoken dynamic, a relationship of sorts, with me and my philosophy.

Ferocious is a very good thing when you are being attacked and a very bad thing when you are disciplining a child.
"Look closely. The beautiful may be small."

"Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe, the oftener and more steadily we reflect on them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me."

“Whereas the beautiful is limited, the sublime is limitless, so that the mind in the presence of the sublime, attempting to imagine what it cannot, has pain in the failure but pleasure in contemplating the immensity of the attempt.”
