well i tried to show you years ago how your designer philosophy of VO was just a watered down recapitulation and mishmash of various failed ethics theories of the past, but you kept insisting you ‘discovered’ something extraordinary. then i was forced to watch in agony as you paraded around the forums trying to recruit yesmen who would placate your misguided sense of grandiosity. after a while i got better though and it no longer hurt. instead of cringing when i saw you somewhere, i’d just say to myself ‘oh that’s just jakob again, doing his thang, passing out brochures.’
but that’s the fun of it, man! these forums give us a place to temporarily leave our ordinary, mediocre lives and pretend to be the superheros we’ve always wanted to be (wait a min… did i say ‘us’? i didn’t mean to include myself… sorry). there is nothing more adorable than watching a poster believe he’s come upon an original idea and get all excited about it… without knowing that idea has been a dead duck for seventy years. it doesn’t matter that serious philosophy was finalized a century ago…nobody is intent on doing serious philosophy anyway… so there’s no loss here.

put your recording device closer to the speakers. and all that would have flowed better at a faster tempo and with more segues. too many stalls; you can’t afford interruptions and pauses at that tempo… it disconnects everything. not that it was bad as a monologue… but it would’ve been better if you had kept a steady meter.
