Brownshirt Serendipper

Postby Jakob » Thu Mar 14, 2019 10:00 pm

This filthy thug now calls for violence.
The filth has been coming into my threads throwing his rotting feces around. Now he is showing his real nazi colours.

I know the filth from BTL where he presented himself as an antisemite. Ive tried to be polite to him during a year or so. But to no avail. This is a nazi to the bone.

Socialism brings so much sadness, waste.

The time I and other decent people have spent here at bringing across the subtler tracts of logic along which we can discern and predict the actual behaviour of the world economies appears to be wasted constantly by the layers of shit dumped on top of it by the constantly vigilant socialist, who can not let any attempt at human progress go unhindered.

Part of me really does not want to believe that people can be inherently evil. But more and more of me is urging that part to give it up, to accept history, to look at nazi Germany and so many other foul places where the Serendippers of this world have concentrated.

Damn you evil whores of Hitler.
Damn you, filthy Serendipper, nazi thug.

all thats left here now, like when KTS reigned on ILP in 2013 and 14, is to exorcise these demons from my system.
It has been proven again there is no point now in disciplined crafting of beautiful texts, unless one wishes to see it all soiled by the most disgracefully dishonest thugs.

You can always tell antisemites are a club. They invariably use the means of stupidity with the greatest pride of all types of stupid.

Regardless of how to achieve it, how would you describe human progress? What constitutes it? what does it look like?

You mentioned the nurturing of creativity, which I agree with, what else?

Can you link to the anti-semitism? What does BTL stand for?

I think that James S Saint was on to something, with the verification of each step in the process.

But - I used to simply go by the idea of intellectual curiosity being somewhat equally distributed here, but now Im thinking that perhaps only when there is profit to look forward to, people are inclined to be as thorough as that. Of course this corresponds to the idea that the world is will to power, and will to power is primarily an interpreting of nature in ones own terms, regardless of how these might be technically established, which is something which is hard to trace.

It is a delicate business to exist as a free mind inside an environment of compulsive refusal to address consequences.
Freedom, ironically, is built entirely of consequences.

It was just a callous post and suggestion of a culture which Ive known all too well in my path online, something Ive grown highly intolerant of. Antisemitism is a smell of old women in houses that smell of them. So I instantly deleted it. Before the light, thats a forum on which I write my less public thoughts.

His post in BTL?

That I found, thanks.

I just searched there under Jews, Jewish, Israel, anti-semitism, Serendipper and got nothing. Don't know where to look in there

As far as Judaism goes, this was also my reason for conflict with James.
This is why it is hard for me to argue with someone for whom the will to power is an evil, rather than the logic of existence and thus a sacred thing.
The Jews survived by the means of intelligence and commitment. Or maybe the reverse, commitment and thereby a growing intelligence.
This makes them in a certain way an elite. But it is not like the British Crown. It is an elite of the ghetto, that now has its own nation. The path to this nation has been something contentious to say the least and it is a worthy platform for debate. What to do with the given of a nation of a religion that has turned back to its cities via the means gathered in 3000 years. This is a serious political question, comparatively speaking quite beautiful. What to do with this?
It takes a lofty view of the world to address this question. What kind of beauty might this long bow of the will be the beginning of?

I don't really see the Jews in general thinking the will to power is good or not evil. Certainly some function that way and the state of Israel is pretty much in that position, period.

I assume by James you mean James Saint.

Anyway. If you got something that shows Serendipper is antisemitic link me to it. I'm happy to call him out on that.

When there are logical steps being taken, then for sure verify each logical step in the process. Evaluation is a little more problematic however when steps are preferred ones rather than logical ones. Less advanced and smaller societies are forced to band together and they get to witness through personal experience everyone's role in the collective effort, but without threat and larger society size, valuations diverge and we have less vision of each person's role in the collective effort - preferred steps become even more problematic, but at least logical ones are just as verifiable.

Intellectual curiosity is good for the creative types, but I would say we collectively prosper from a lack of intellectual curiosity amongst those who perform the mundane and repetitive tasks that keep us all afloat. An issue arises, however, when democracy is afforded equally to both types, and the unintellectually curious are fooled: all kinds of conflict of interest arises on top of what I said just before.

Profit to look forward to in the sense of reward - for sure, but in the sense of loss aversion - maybe. Loss aversion is powerfully effective, and this is the primary motivation behind private property - eclipsing even the incentive of potential gain. This has been well documented, however I do have a personal preference for a lack of loss aversion driving behaviour, with more emphasis on reward - and not necessarily only personal reward. Human motivation is so much deeper than personal gain - understanding of the psychology behind it is absolutely imperative to evaluate rewards such as "profit". It is far from clear cut and seemingly more often than not counter-intuitive, especially to the layman.

But this last area spills over into means rather than ends, and my question is primarily what human progress looks like & what it constitutes - not yet how to get there.

Jakob wrote:It is a delicate business to exist as a free mind inside an environment of compulsive refusal to address consequences.
Freedom, ironically, is built entirely of consequences.

This is why I have reservations over the term "freedom" - I don't think it's a coincidence that things like "freedom isn't free" and "freedom is built entirely of consequences" are "ironic" - as I've argued elsewhere it's more like they're contradictions.

One thing you see in people arguing both for and against freedom is that above all they desire an enemy - a restriction, at least potentially. What is often meant by freedom is a lack of outside restriction to act on preferences, either directly by nature, or moreoever indirectly via articially imposed law and morality, whose enforcement is manifested by imposing natural restictions where there would otherwise be none: punishment. Give either side complete freedom from both punishment and enemy and they wilt. Another interesting aspect of psychology. It's the nature of the restriction of freedom that is the question - and it's simple things like this that seem to pass by the majority of the intellectually curious. So whilst intellectual curiosity is a good, intellectual competence seems to be in short supply.

Herein lies a large part of your exasperation over those who compulsively refuse to address consequences - in my reckoning.

So what else - concerning human progress?

i don't believe for a second that the dipper is a brownshirt. if his shirt is brown, it's because it was once white and he put it in with a load of darks.

Well, so far we've got the smell of old ladies that may or may not have something to do with dipper. thats a lot of evidence.
