You donāt agree wtih me?
No, their rhythm was fine but their performance was a bit intimate (the chemistry between them almost made me blushā¦that male dancer was making sexy eyes).
Those pants! So distracting. No, he doesnāt seem to be very close to her in my opinion; he moves more like heās her chiropractor or something. Here, hold me while I stretch my back and neck, and maybe dry my hair too while Iām at it. Nowā¦ if this was a some kind of Brazilian chiropractic session then we might have something good going on here. Iād be down for that, as long as he holds me while I twist myself around. But really, here heās more like her personal moving barre.
How about this video? Here we have a different problem. His moves are aligned with the music but they are strange, awkward, unattractive moves. Sure, they are difficult to perform, but is that enough to impress people? Judging from the reactions of the jury, I guess it is.
Breakdancing can be impressive but it can never be dancing. It is a form of athletics that mostly revolves around headspinning, handspinning and backspinning. Thereās more to it than that, I guess, but most of it is just plain stupid (robot moves are just plain stupid.)
Itās just a bunch of annoying, noisy, men pretending to be dancing when in fact they are just performing martial arts moves. (Iād like to see martial arts moves in the context of dancing but so far Iāve never seen it done well.)

I love watching this guy dance
True storyā¦ I was coming out of my hotel in Birmingham City Centre (close to The Bullring) in October last year, and they were having a dance-off with some local dude on the pavement right outside my hotel, but everyone stopped and started dawdling and shuffling around instead of continuing to dance, so I didnāt get to see it, sadly. I was too shy and busy with thoughts of going to Wagamama for brunch, to go and fan over them, but at least I have the tale to tell. The clip starting at 4.52 makes me wish I could pop and lock, but at least I can krump and freestyle.
