I just found this 3 hour presentation explaining some basics of Islam.

Aldous Huxley’s “The Perennial Philosophy” is a classic about religion and spirituality. His approach was to discover the common denominators of the world’s religions. Filled with quotes from the Christian mystics to the oriental philosophers, the book carefully describes what it means to be spiritual.

“A God That Could Be Real: Spirituality, Science and the Future of Our Planet” by Nancy Ellen Abrams (2015) is a must read for anyone interested in what a naturalistic religion might be like. Forewords by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Paul Davis.

How "love"ly

Just as light illuminates the darkness, the love that is God fills a void where no love exists. And just as objects in the darkness illuminated by light shine, so the beloved of the loving God should reflect His love.

An interesting thought.

Wikipedia has a vast array of knowledge about religion, but three websites in it seem to stand out to me the most.

Religion Portal on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal:Religion

For a general list and overview of all religions, try this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_religions_and_spiritual_traditions

And for contemplative study of New Religious Movements, from respected new traditions to cults, try this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_new_religious_movements

It’s easy to get lost in the vast information indexes of Wikipedia, so I hope people here can use the three links I shared as starting points to find and study the religions they’ve been looking for.
