What are you doing? (Part 1)

States of consciousness forming a unique body that can exist without the mass of the corporeal form. So far I’ve done two astral planes and what I call the etheric plane (earth in ghost form), but I’d like to venture on to learn more about how eternity operates. Still awaiting your detailed recalling of your soul travels.

I’m savoring my ability to sell ice to Eskimos during a cold snap. Still a few miles to go yet before my final hour; a couple more good meals, a couple more women to fuck and some more drugs and I’ll be just fine. :sunglasses:

Watching random TV, after waking up at 1am on the sofa… a young John Boyega in Attack The Block was an awesome revisit… the characters, brilliantly individually unique… a London suburb of non clones.

I am a certified regular member of the Wide Awake Club. :sleeping-boring:

…contemplating a second cup of coffee… before a window of appropriate opportunity has been missed… watching the end of the Royal wedding, which I thought I’d slept-in-missed.

…happened upon Pacific Rim… ITV2… 2013… fantastic CGI visuals.

…thinking (or is that, worrying) about, the sustainability of self… but no time to worry about that now, for now is not for worrying but for doing and hope that sustainment is maintained through at least average means.

Magsj, I will live forever because I smoke 2 packs a day, I drink about 8 shots of espresso, and I consume a diet of almost entirely meat and cheese and deserts.

…that’s a lot of cigarettes.

…that’s a lot of caffeine.

…that’s a cool diet.

It’s the key to a long life.

Living a surreal life, a life of surrealness… every day seeming weirder than the last, and my wondering, when will days shift into normalcy… if ever.

The times they are a -changing as the fat lady sings.

…when that happens, everything usually changes in permanency, when the fat lady sings… or at least it does during the duration of all good operas… coming to a stage near you. [claps hands / opens hands and simultaneously stamps leading foot] ta daaaa!

I’m in the process of destroying a black ant colony that’s settled a little too close to my turf. These ant scouts are incredibly good! If you leave behind any scrap of food, and no matter what it is, or even how small it is, they’ll somehow sniff it out and be all over it within a day!
I don’t know what their smell radius is, but it’s definately more than I thought it was. So I’ve used the poison bait nectar and I think it’s working. Only 18 hrs later and I’m already seeing the dead ants where I usually see the scouts. But another surprising thing I’m seeing is that the survivors are now coming back to pick up the dead and are now carrying them away. Well, anyway, I hope I got the queen with this poison. (Or is it queens?) Perhaps, they’ll change their mind and relocate the colony. Will see.

Edit:
I’m afraid I might be killing them too fast:

The good news is that I’ve found their actual colony, so I suppose I can always bleach-bomb it, but then I’m afraid it may just bud off into several (and they already established pheromone trails to my source). But I’ve confirmed that these type of ants do carry food to the queen (sorry, to their multiple queens), so that’s good news (for me).

I think I know what to do now.

Watching Catchup TV on cable… with dinner and red wine to follow after the current program on ends, whilst finalising the setup of the Conservative political group I Founded: business email and bank account, and website etc. Gotta wash my hair at some point.

Reading through the first pages of this thread… I hadn’t realized it was only from 2012, I thought it had been forever. I also never realized it starts out with a fundamental philosophical dialogue between an idealist and a pragmatist.

Which is the idealist and which is the pragmatist?

Gobbo the idealist, you the pragmatist Id say.
Though Gobbo isn’t impractical, he knows how to make his way, I mean his philosophy, outlook.

Smart guy. 1st person I talked to here. I remember coming on and starting up with him about how Dick Cheney was a great leader and should be admired for his ability to attain and utilize political power. He was just super pissed about what Cheney used that power for. Great stuff.

I am reading Celt myths in hopes of luring my muse back. She’s been gone too long.
