New school shooting, leftist response

The kids’ reactions to shooting seem very unnatural (and not just kids).
I came across this recently- it’s David Hogg’s indirect connection to Cubic.

Is it just me, or does this seem like this is somewhat of a sloppy oversight?

And so if they do pass so-called mental hygiene laws for gun ownership, what about mental hygiene laws within the military itself?

Well, that’s the problem when you have the C.I.A., Homeland Security, and other government agencies we’ve probably never even heard about in charge of news media across the country, you just never can tell truth from lies or vice versa. It becomes increasingly difficult to separate fiction from non fiction especially carefully crafted fiction. Nonetheless it doesn’t matter as the damage is done and most cannot think independently on their own to discern anything that is being presented to them. Most news in the United States is carefully crafted for the majority of dumbfounded idiots that makes the bulk of our population for public consumption that graces our upstanding great nation.

Also, I can’t stress enough for people to look into controlled opposition, to be sure you cannot trust mainstream media but think of this also, do you really believe that they don’t control alternative news sources either? When I read anything from anywhere I take everything with a grain of salt assuming that everything is controlled where an agenda is being formed. There really is no safe source of information from anywhere, once you understand all of that the better off you will become.

Both you guys make good points. The lefties want to ban guns and the righties want to ban fun. Clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right:

I can have all the guns I want, but by god I can’t buy beer on sunday :angry-cussingblack:

I can’t mow the lawn while drinking or I’ll get a dui. :chores-mowlawn:

I have to run the gauntlet of dui checkpoints on the way to walmart so the gestapo can be sure I haven’t been drinking. :auto-swerve:

Yeah I guess I feel marginally safer with all the drunks off the road, but my odds weren’t that great of being in a accident anyway and the monster is far worse for me having the cops constantly looking for someone to harass in between donuts. And the kicker is people still die from dui. How much inconvenience must I endure to ensure my safety? :confusion-shrug:

OMG don’t get caught with a joint or you’re screwed. $1000 fine right off the bat and all professional licenses gone. A big hit to the permanent record so forget future job opportunities. One joint can cost your life, but at least you have your guns. Oh wait, nope, drug users can’t have guns.

I think my life would be impacted less severely if the left were in charge. Yeah I may lose my gun rights, but I could hide them and they’re too stupid to find them. As a bonus the righteous preachers would get off my ass. Single mothers could find work for a decent wage. Old people could afford to buy their meds. Bernie wasn’t perfect, but I was ready to give it a go, but they HAD to put cankles on the ticket.

^^^True story, Bernie Sanders and his wife are being investigated by the F.B.I. for fraud, look it up.

@Serendipper

Well it’s a combination, for some it may be a sense of fairness that keeps them from turning to a life of crime, for others it may be fear, but prisoners relatively lack both.
While it takes courage to be fair, in the sense that you’ll suffer greater losses if others aren’t also being fair, firstly, you can still be wise, and fair, not lower your guard, and secondly, people who’re unfair to the point of breaking the law usually end up in jail, unless they’re wealthy, lucky or cunning and they take small amounts over long periods of time, so in other words: you don’t have as much to fear from their unfairness.
It’s easier to play fair when you have the law protecting you from the worst injustices, like robbery, rape and murder, people can commit, but if the law wasn’t there to protect you, like you suddenly found yourself in a survival situation, you might think, well if I don’t sneak up on him, and get him first, he might just sneak up on me, and get me.

From my research, and experience, poverty is at least correlated with blue collar property crime, if not violent crime too.
People who’re more likely to commit property crime, are more likely to commit violent crime, and people who’re more likely to take illicit drugs, are more likely to commit crime, so Stefan’s statistics don’t exactly make sense.

It could also be they’ve made loads of money, from exploiting poor people for a long time, hiring illegal aliens, shipping jobs overseas, replacing workers with machines, making them increasingly expendable, overpricing, underpaying, cartels, corporate welfare, fine print, fraud, tax loopholes, usury, polluting lakes, rivers and on and on, and they have nightmares of angry mods/peasants lynching/looting them, so they need to sleep with a gun underneath their pillow at night.

They’re all crooks, but that one talked like he would put the pedal to the metal. Obama did things half-assed trying to compromise, but Bernie talked like he’s set to go full Marx. I can’t imagine how it would affect me negatively. Might have to pay some more tax, but eh… I’m not rich so I wouldn’t be in his crosshairs.

The vegas shooting might not have happened, since there would be no reason to shoot at country music Trump fans. The TX church shooting might not have happened since it was an atheist already pissed at christians and Trumpsters probably put him over the edge. We may not have been discussing gun control so much and it might not have been an issue for Bernie to have acted upon. I think Bernie was more passionate about his economic ideas. And I’m curious how it would play out.

Yes, that’s why you fight fair as a last resort. Fairness was Superman’s weakness that Zod et al exploited.

This is just from some notes I have:

From the Man of Steel movie: youtube.com/watch?v=Rm_06apWsRg

Faora: You are weak, Son of El, unsure of yourself. The fact that you possess a sense of morality, and we do not, gives us an evolutionary advantage. And if history has proven anything
Faora: [Faora picks up Kal-El throws him into another building]
Faora: …It is that evolution always wins.

This bit from the Pirates of the Caribbean illustrates: youtube.com/watch?v=Wxi-IUnCN_8

Will : My father was not a pirate. [takes out his sword]

Jack : Put it away, son. It’s not worth you getting beat again.

Will : You didn’t beat me. you ignored the rules of engagement. In a fair fight, I’d killed you.

Jack : Then that’s not much incentive for me to fight fair, then, is it? [moves one of the sails so that the yard catches Will and swings him out over the sea] Now, as long as you’re just hanging there, pay attention. The only rules that really matter are these – what a man can do and what a man can’t do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can’t. But pirate is in your blood, boy, so you’ll have to square with that someday. Now, me, for example, I can let you drown but I can’t bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesy, savvy? So… [swings him back on board and offers him his sword] can you sail under the command of a pirate? Or can you not?

What’s the incentive to fight fair when someone else won’t?
What’s the incentive to be considerate when others are not?
What is the reward?

The reward is extinction, sometimes.

Survival was a moral as well as a physical struggle. A woman doctor wrote to a friend in June 1933 that she had not yet become a cannibal, but was “not sure that I shall not be one by the time my letter reaches you.” The good people died first. Those who refused to steal or to prostitute themselves died. Those who gave food to others died. Those who refused to eat corpses died. Those who refused to kill their fellow man died. Parents who resisted cannibalism died before their children did. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor

To be moral takes courage.

You’re probably right.

The law protects us from some things, but we’re presented with many other ethical decisions that may require us to have courage.

Yeah it’s counter-intuitive for sure.

That video has inspired lots of debate.

 That seems about right.

Bernie is just a closet Jewish communist.

What’s Trump?

Illinois Town Bypasses Constitution, US Citizens Given 60 Days To Turn In Guns Or Become Criminals

Residents in Deerfield, Illinois have 60 days to surrender their “assault weapons” or face fines of $1000 per day per gun.

Also included in the gun ban were semi-automatic pistols which can accept higher than 10 round magazines. That’s virtually all full size semi-automatic pistols.

Predictably, law enforcement and retired law enforcement members of the community are exempted from the ban. Currently, in the U.S., law enforcement kills around 1,200 citizens per year. Ironically, that number is actually four times higher than those who die from rifles.

As TFTP has reported, cops have killed 450 percent more people than have died in the past forty years of mass shootings.

Corporate insider playing the masses like a violin.

I don’t know where the word closet comes in here. He’s an openly Jewish socialist.

I watched some documentary about Bernie Sanders political leanings since his younger years and he was a member of a communist support group. There was also footage of him and his wife vacationing in the USSR during the cold war and in Cuba. Underneath his socialist veneer is a radical communist.
