Today's Stock Market Crash: Mr Reasonable

What happens in 2020 as alluded to in another thread concerning Asia? Well, the new Chinese silk road or OBOR will near its completion date. What that means is the huge Atlanticist [United States] international naval power will largely become irrelevant as China will have means to international trade without the need of the United States [or its naval supremacy] and its western allies.

Imagine Chinese super highways, naval ports, and rail systems that can reach Budapest, Munich, Paris, London, Moscow, New Delhi, Islamabad, Mumbai, Djibouti, Riyadh, and Cairo. Think about the huge implications of that for a moment.

This will forever change the dynamic of international trade and circumvent the economic power of the United States globally. It will be the final nail in the coffin of the United States.

This will also change the dynamics of international politics as well for better or worse.

What?

As usual you can only perceive the world in short term thinking without the ability to think in the long term especially concerning long term consequences. You lack foresight man.

Hm, very interesting, I’m going to watch this video.
The west peaked relative to the world a long time ago, and now the world is catching up.
They’re going to get to enjoy some of the pleasures, and pains we did, before the great fall.

The world’s always changing, and that change isn’t always a forward motion, but short sighted people can’t see that, they think like the world is just going to carry on as it has in the same general direction for centuries, if they think at all.

Barring a catastrophe of epic proportions, which could very well happen soon, what will the world look like in 2030, or 2050, with an ascendant China, a China no longer intimidated by the west, flexing its economic muscles, playing hardball, outcompeting America for South American, European, African and Asian markets?
And flexing its military muscles, as China and the other big players scramble for diminishing resources, securing them by any means possible, exploiting smaller nations to feed their ravenous economies.

Many battles, small and big, economically and militarily will be fought, and increasingly America is going to lose, its monopoly over finance, resources and military might is slowly coming to an end, and Americans are going to really start feeling it, as the world turns their back on them, as its capacity to produce, consume and bully other nations takes a dive.

It’s going to be a new world order, increasingly with China at the helm, exerting itself, not just materially, but culturally, putting their own spin on capitalism, expanding their spheres of influence farther and wider, we can scarcely imagine how it’ll all unfold.

I am obviously no fan of the Chinese communists or communism in general however if they disrupt the current social order (democracy/capitalism) in the west to give rise to another social order I support the opportunity that it gives western revolutionaries to do so. We must remember that the Chinese ambition is communism worldwide and therefore we must ensure that they do not succeed in that endeavor. The enemy of my domestic enemy is not my friend but if they succeed in destroying that enemy giving energy to revolutionary activities domestically I’ll take that opportunity and run with it to further my own ends.

On the contrary good sir. I’m not the one who thinks a 1 week dip in the indexes means that a global economic catastrophe is beginning. You should have bought when there was blood in the streets and you’d have made some money. Short term, long term whatever. You’ll be dead of old age by the time your predictions come true. The longest term you need to consider is your life expectancy.

Yeah, your views are nothing new to me. You like others think that this broken economic system can go on forever, talk about delusions.

A lot of Russians must of died last week in Syria with United States Syrian military coalition forces because today Russian Lavrov warned the United States recently that it is playing with fire concerning the whole of Syria.

Well, our little international crisis just got serious and more interesting…

Tick, tock…

Stocks no doubt went up to the moon with this news…

Speak of the devil…

Goldman Sachs writes:

Timber! Wheeee! Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha!

United States DOW

Goldman Sachs isn’t some dude who writes. It’s a bank. And banks sell financial products. They’re telling investors to hedge against the bubble. That way, their investors can remain in the class of people who control the economy whether it goes up or down. Pretty basic stuff man. You already know who controls the world. You should think about how they do it.

I already know how they think and I already know the long con they’re preparing for the United States or the whole world. The only difference is that I believe it’s going to blow up in their faces because they arrogantly believe they’re untouchable where consequences doesn’t apply to them. I believe that very soon in the future they’re going to learn the error of that kind of thinking.

And how do you suppose that will happen?

Overconfidence can be the downfall of anybody. It has brought many great individuals and indeed whole entire nations to their knees.
