Yes, a good Christian would take the judgement seat at God right hand and replace God as judge of mankind.
That is what Jesus did and what all good Christians should do.
Unfortunately, it seems that the only good Christians are Gnostic Christians as we seem to be the only type of Christian to follow what Jesus tells us to do in scriptures.
Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
That good news is what frees us from religious dogma and traditions but most Christians wish to be slaves to their God instead of his master the way Karaite Jews and Gnostic Christians strive to be.
Philosopher Allan Watts recognized the truth of the good news.
Perhaps my farewell was premature. It seems all too convenient that a thread that appears as an attack on a certain type of Christian fundamentalism should advocate GIA’s version of Gnosticism. It seemed inconvenient for AUOS to explain to us–
Who is this enthroned deity, and how did he become enthroned?
How or in what way is this ruling deity anything like Kim Jong Un?
3, How is this deity in any way responsible for what his followers do or say?
The human mind is the world’s most brutal terrorist and the world’s most fearsome dictator. The mind is also our last, best hope to save ourselves from ourselves.
No moral system is going to please everyone. There will always be somebody who says that it ought to be different. It’s not limited to the moral systems described by religions.
If I was to get involved in such a discussion with you, then it would have to amount to more than you just saying that your morals are superior to some other morals.
You brought up divorce so let’s use that as an example. You say that divorce is moral and someone says that it’s immoral. Do you have any reasoning to support your claim?
(And I’m not interested in watching YouTube videos, so use your own words, please)
