Considering what they have done in China, Russia, Cuba, Spain, Ukraine, and other countries of the world once achieving state power, yes I would say they are of some concern. Did you fall asleep in history class? Shall we go through list after list of communist atrocities here?
Wait a second, I thought multiculturalism was all about the celebration and preservation of diversity. This seems contrary to the assimilative integration and absorption you’re promoting here. You can’t have it both ways. Different cultures and races thrive in isolation opposed to all out assimilation, balkanization, and absorption.
America was created by Europeans concerning its institutions, laws, government, constitution, and state.
The nebulous terminology of America you’re using is quite different than mine.
Use any label you want. The American experience is that of people from all over the place coming here to live. It’s like a giant university. There are still ethnic ghettos and various racial enclaves. And there are places where one diaspora after another has deposited people after transporting them from their original foothold.
The children of immigrants learn English and go to school and keep the food choices but look for a home with more bathrooms. And they “intermarry” (gasp!).
Or sometimes they don’t. This is not the most difficult material I could throw at you.
Jus’ sayin’…
You should read The Sneetches, by Dr. Seuss. That will break it down for you.
