I found out my wife actually taped yesterday’s super bowl
with an eye to watch it for the commercials and half time show…
so I did just that… fast forward the game and watched the commercials
and half time show… I must say, this was perhaps the most political
number of commercials I have ever seen for a major sporting event…
Audi did a very good commercial about equal work for equal pay…
and my personal favorite the Lumber 84 commercial about the mother
and daughter who came to the united states by walking only to find a
border wall blocking their way and then finding a door to enter…
that had to cost some serious money without knowing if the money
invested would be rewarded… you get the feeling this commercial was
done for love and not money… and don’t forget the coke commercial which
has already driven for calls for a boycott of coke and that will last about
7 minutes…all in all, I think this was the most interesting group of commercials
ever done for a super bowl and all because of the recognition of the danger
of 45… when businesses are against you, especially a GOP president,
it won’t be long before they demand he leaves… the business world
is the base of the GOP party and when businesses are against you…
it doesn’t bode well for you…money will talk and it will speak against
45 especially if the economy tanks as I suspect it will… by the beginning of
summer we will start having issues beginning with the tourism industry
and tech companies wanting visa’s for their employees…
