The singer from Silverchair was 15 when the tracks above came out. Twenty years later his newest album references his response to the legion of Silverchair fans who have never forgiven him from going solo and commercial. I’m not a fan of commercial elevator music either but nearly two decades of hate because an artist transitioned into dance and pop music? Really?
It reminds me of the uproar when Dylan went electric and the Beatles went all Indian psychedelic. Perhaps it was lucky Hendrix died when he did? He was planning to write music with a symphony orchestra. Tru story bro
I haven’t posted them here if that’s what you mean. I posted the punkish stuff on ILO. This was supposed to be the stuff I didn’t finish posting when they took ILO down
(I am tempted to repeat some 80’s tracks however since Turd wants to ban the 80’s from ILP.)
I’d prefer you didn’t. There’s lots of Oz music I don’t like and I only want to post stuff I do like (and is relatively unfamiliar - no INXS, AC/DC etc). Look at the crap peripheral posted a couple of pages back. Awful. Post the stuff you like elsewhere. There’s plenty of room for everyone.
Perhaps? Since I loooove perfect weather, great beaches, unspoiled countryside, easy-going people, hot babes, locally produced food, fresh air, night skies full of stars and a great music scene it might explain why I’m HAPPY to live here.
