Yes, seriously… they taste of nature… like all good food should - as I was going to checkout I passed the bread and pastry section and thought of you and Mr R… you would have been in bread and pastry heaven.
Kay, gonna update the rules a bit. My goal is that in 20years this thread will be more viewd than the What are you doing thread, even though it had a two year advantage!
You dont have to post a photo you personally took, just a picture to get a sense of what it looks like. And in order to reply you must post at least one item.
Do you have a spot where you can breakfast/dine at? a veranda if you will… City folk are lucky if they get a balcony let alone a tiny patio town garden.
Yep, it’s pretty neat. The land is about the size of a football field. You can’t see how far back it goes in this photo but it is pretty awesome. There’s a little man-made waterfall up the back which fills a stream that runs along the right side of the photo (behind the trees).
Interestingly, the guy who owned the property previously was an academic; he specialized in ethics. He told me the real estate agent suggested he knock the little forest down and build on it. Arghhhhhh!!!
MagsJ, the deck in the foreground is about 4m/12feet deep (left side of the pic) and the kitchen runs off that so it’s perfect for breakfasts, brunches, lunches and pre dinner drinks (god, I’m sounding like MagsJ)
Dining, however, is best served in a more formal setting. I’m sure you’d agree.
In a few weeks I’m moving, and so I sold my bed to a guy and had a new one shipped to the place I’m going. I’m doing the same thing with my safe, because the fucking thing is heavy and I don’t wanna move it. So I sell it to a guy for cheap, and he comes and gets it, then I’m ordering this one and having it sent to the place I’m going.
I also had the 2 front windows of my car tinted the other day. Not really dark, just enough to match the factory tint on the back ones, so I"m not breaking and window tint laws, but there’s less sun in my eyes. I would post a pic but it’s just a pic of a window it’s not much to see.
When I go to a place, I’m pretty good at dressing for the climate. I’ll sober up by tomorrow and explain the 40 layers I had on then it was -9 degrees in Denver last December.
