Absolute Randomness

I’m very certain it does Smears  Ever see that episode of CSI where the storyline revolves around cosplay? was quite the funny viewing material, but CSI always does cross the moral-boundary…

The advert for the Para-Olympics is just awesome, and they are physically impressive and would put most of us physically-abled humans to shame with their trained physiques.

Have you ever left here for awhile, and then came back and realized that all the things you used to tell yourself about this place actually ARE true? Like how stupid and petty it is, and how nearly everyone takes themselves way too seriously and are waaaaay too caught up in this little cyberworld?

Have you ever left here for awhile and come back to realize that this just really doesn’t fucking matter, and every single one of us are idiots?

A friend is in Peru atm. He’s gone on a 6 day (?) ayahuasca ceremony (I think it’s 6 days?) which promises to be very intense.

I think you take the ‘medicine’ (as the maestro/shaman call it) every day or two. Each time, you dive deeper and deeper back into your greatest fears, each time cleansing physically, emotionally and spiritually and breaking through to a deeper understanding of yourself.

This morning, I’ve been getting weird sensations. It feels like a pressure or frequency change around me. I haven’t had this many similar sensation for ages so I’m thinking it might be him? When it happened, I looked up the time in Peru and it happened to be the time I’d expect him to be peaking. Right now, he should be coming down and returning to his hut to record what happened.

He’s a very experienced and knowledgeable, dude. He was initiated into the Ngombarl tribe during a ceremony on Uluru (Ayers Rock) and is incredibly knowledgeable in both political and esoteric spheres so whatever has been revealed to him will be fascinating to hear.

I got a dog

Awww… so cute

Age? Sex? Name? Interests…?

.

Name: Kuqo
Sex: male
Age: 4 years and 9 days
Interests: I’ll just say a bit about what he’s like. Very good with everyone, especially with women. He’s hesitant to go to my male friends who come over right away, but he goes right up to my female friends and asks to be petted. He doesn’t have a problem with dogs, except for dalmatians. Hates them for some reason. Hardly ever barks. His favorite hobbies when I’m walking him include and are limited to sniffing and pissing on mailboxes. When I let him loose in a nearby park, he likes sprinting and jumping on top of things.

I trimmed his coat a couple of days ago and gave him a dog Mohawk from his head to his tail. He looks like a hyena.

I think the hyena look was a nice touch

awesome and congrats!

what kind of qualifications did you need to have to apply to the PhD program? Bachelor’s in Philosophy, I’m sure. Certain courses? Did you need to have some kind of lengthy thesis paper?

Well, you need a bachelors degree, good scores on the GRE, a pretty good sample essay, and good recommendation letters.

What program? Are you in the US?

Florida :-"

With Susan Haack? I’m gonna be in St. Augustine, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Key West next week. Drinking heavily and talking about philosophy a lot. If you see me say what’s up.
