I'm not trying to be nice. The truth doesn't give a toss about nicety.

It's always the ones who mumble on about "morality".

Mumble? MUMBLE!!!!?

By the way, I'm from the same place you're from, geographically-speaking, anyway.

So what? Like I said many times, I'm not making the case that Britain is better than the US. My focus on the US is because it is the most powerful country, if it was somewhere else then my focus would be on somewhere else.

You sure aren't. In fact, you're not making any case at all.

Why bother making a case, when the behaviour of my opponents makes the case for me?

Look at my sig. It illustrates the way in which dim people respond to criticism through counterarguments such 'repeat the criticism in a loud, brash and sarcastic manner that shows you disagree with it without having to actually argue against it, and this will encourage others who disagree to also become loud, brash and sarcastic, reinforcing your sense of being right'. You know, the sort of counterargument popularised by 'Friends' and other fast-talking but vapid sitcoms. It's like when one cow in a field starts mooing because it's a bit hungry and the others all start mooing in chorus.

Hence, it demonstrates my point far better than ANY argument I could make, 'nice' or otherwise. My work is therefore done, and this thread is just me basking in the sun. It's very hot in the UK at the moment, so basking is totally called for.

I'd be more likely to agree that he wasn't part of the soup if he didn't spend so much time in the same bowl. Einstein didn't go to elementary schools ranting about how dumb the little children were -- more frequently other children, particularly the dumb ones, rant about how they're better than their peers. As such, I take his self-proclaimed superiority as actual evidence of his inferiority. :D

Oh look, Mr Two Cents has turned up with yet another tiresome cliche that characterises someone else's view in a negative way, but without offering any intelligent counterargument. Who would have thunk it?

Oh look, Mr Two Cents is American. Who would have thunk it?

Keep on proving my case for me fellas. You might not get it, but trust me when I say quite a few people here do...

counter argument? lol. you really do hold yourself in a really high regard, to think anything you've said resembles an argument and warrants a counter argument. just because you take yourself seriously enough to think you deserve a counter argument doesn't mean we do.

  That WAS the counterargument, but I suppose the irony gets lost in the clouds. You're right. Americans are all you say they are and it pisses me off because I ARE one, but that doesn't go very far in explaining your litany of supercilious put downs as if you are somehow in some 'special' observational position high above us. It must get lonely at the top...

This thread needs to calm down with the personally-directed statements in a hurry, or Warnings are going to be getting handed out.

I don't mind the momentum or direction that SAIDT is heading in, for when Walker was around, he attacked Walker, Gobbo supported Walker and neither ever spoke to me, or hardly I should say (nor did I ever have cause to speak to them). Second he left, both's attention focused on me, both for nationalistic purposes, and both in anger and resentment.

Now.... there is good psychological reason for this. Both are exhibiting left hemisphere anger- grammatical intelligence demands to come to the forefront of assessing others, and I have broca issues do to childhood Apraxia that causes to this day delayed learning in that area, which takes me twice to three times longer than the average person to learn new words or pronunciation, and how I spell stuff migrates, some of it truely unchangeable, even mnemonic rules shift in terms of me trying to fix certain issues. Traditionally I've always pissed off this breed of thinker, and I am perfectly at ease with this- alot of good has come from it.

However, they have strengths- my humor is formulated in the left hemisphere, and it's based off of my capacity to see what's messed up with situations, referring to a principled, logical format embedded in a twisted mood. They are that underlining orthodoxy, and can think relatively and principled in creating new formulations. It's literally my ego that threatens them the most. The conflict underlines the question.... a question that hasn't been asked but all three of us are very aware of, and flirt with it, finding proxy after proxy to express it in.

I am being very mean in being non-linear in my responses in my other posts. The answer always predates the question, and this isn't the first time I've seen this phenomena pop up..... I've heavily undercut most of what SAIDT can use to defend any future position prior, I've undermined my own purity and revel in my debauched 'syntax' and garbled whatever. In Gobbo's case it's losing a entertaining friend, and for whatever reason I am the one most to blame in Gobbo's eyes..... but I also step alot on Gobbo's prejudices.

Both arguments will continue to evolve together- Gobbo's and SAIDT. They will try to show differences, but will fail in the long run.... it will wound their sense of self ironically to resist.

So Saidt.... Gobbo.... you know my prejudices. I've said my worst that I feel. Americans are robbed for our R&D efforts in Medicine by foreign countries' monopoly, I don't have a lot of faith in the international global warming movement in being clear headed or reasonable, not a big fan of Europe historically, and much less 20th century to the present, especially in terms of understanding the nature of the mess we're in (they think it's a new formulation of regurgitating bad past ideologies with new twists to somehow fix that mess), as well as putting the larger portion of the blame on Europe for militarizing the US, and US staying and babying Europe to the present for making Europe so backwards and infantile in it's escapist utopian outlook.

You have the fodder, the kindle, and all the other elements and now even the time. I'm challenging you both..... hit me up in a new thread, in this section, no moderator.... you know my prejudices, and no other writer in this section get's either of you upset faster, so it's something you both want..... I'm saying tag team me. Your both essentially are still responding to me even though I haven't written much in these threads the last few days (been busy), and trying to use me as the object of your anger. Let's be more indepth and more realistic and search out the rotten core of your argument, search out what's really motivating the two of you. It's not 'Agggghhhhhh...... fuckkkkkkkk', no.... it's something else neither of you have expressed clearly yet.

So, I am calling both of you out, and anyone else who wants to jump in. Consult together, and find just what it is that's driving you both so broke insane. Look at whatever it is on this site, and make a new thread here, in this section- call me out, and challenge me. The spotlights on me, and you can be completely vindicated for doing so, without harm or threats from the moderator, as I'm giving you permission for a special kind of thread. There's something aching inside of the both of you. Suggest you both cool it for 48 hours though, and consult with one another.... think this one over..... cause I am clearly plotting something, and I am a little too confident in being so bold and brazen here....

This can only work to your advantage, you have numbers on your side, right? So no more fiddle fudging around here, especially you SAIDT..... I've caught you in a outright lie in the religious section that's quotable and you still denied it- figure out together your real reasons for being contrarians and pissed, and spill it, and we'll deal with it at it's core. If we don't, we'll have to rip it out of you thread by thread until you can be honest and open about it. Currently, up to this moment, neither of you have a point of view..... other than 'aggrraahhhhh- Damn Merkins'. Not a shred of evidence or insight on your parts suggesting it's based on anything other banal prejudice based off something you heard regurgitated on TV.

oh no, what a slight. to misspell his name...that's like crying out another woman's name during coitus. i suggest this be settled over a duel. SIADT'S honor is at stake, his ego has been threatened. first, none of the Americans in this thread were interested in playing into his game of "I think lowly of you, now grovel at my feet and try to impress me," and now one dares to forget his name? may the wrath of the gods be upon you.
