That WAS the counterargument, but I suppose the irony gets lost in the clouds. You're right. Americans are all you say they are and it pisses me off because I ARE one, but that doesn't go very far in explaining your litany of supercilious put downs as if you are somehow in some 'special' observational position high above us. It must get lonely at the top...
