Have you ever tried inhaling alcohol fumes, say from boiling ethanol. It gives you an extremely quick high, which wears off just as quickly, assuming you are not continuously inhaling it. Some people experienced some minor symptoms of hangover after that.

You can put half water and half liquor in a hooka pipe and you will effectively be smoking alcohol. The high is great.

Yeah I kinda liked it, but it's not out at a pub with friends, "main lining" alcohol is more doing it and then passing out on your own. :)

I did a bunch of ketamine in the late 90s early 2ks. I remember going to see the matrix when it came out and realizing I was out of hallucinogens so I went into a bathroom stall and did a rai. Went back in stumbling, got back to my seat then stared at the floor till the movie was over and basically got carried out by friends. Hilarious. I did some once while on some acid and the visuals were unmatched by almost anything I've ever had.

How does any of this relate to social sciences? :-k

"Civilization is nothing more than a globalized overly worshipped farm where the owners violently and oppressively domesticate other human beings like enslaved cattle enforcing the direction of their labors for their own individual profit."- Random Anarcho Primitivist

YOU'RE asking that question!!??

Besides, it's a relevant social question that can easily branch off into a discussion about the legalization of pot.

Pot is also presently illegal, so it basically doubles as a study of how many ILP members are willing to violate the law for their own personal enjoyment.

Walking down most London roads one can smell a trail of weed coming from many directions... they are left to their own devices by any passing police due to it being personal use, so the stigma of enjoying a spliff is no more here.. due to an 'unofficial' legalisation of it at user level.

Imageaes dhammo sanantano Pali: 'this is the eternal law'

The Narcissist exists whereby every activity and relationship is defined by the hedonistic need to acquire the symbols of spiritual wealth, this becoming the only expression of rigid, yet covert, social hierarchies. It is a culture where liberalism only exists insofar as it serves a consumer society, and even art, sex and religion lose their liberating power.
