Here is a link to a site that publishes a book that covers Bible doctrine from a point of view that is different from most mainstream churches. It explains how to prove if the Bible is true, what prophecy foretells for the United States in the years ahead, what the true gospel is, why the gospel needs to be preached to the public, and suggestions for preaching the gospel effectively. The book is free, can be read online or downloaded in .pdf format, and is in the public domain so you can copy it, quote from it, even republish it if you wish, and the author doesn’t mind if you don’t attribute the source. I know he doesn’t mind because I am the author.
http://www.earlychristianwritings.com ← full, or as complete as we have. Writings from very early Christians, some of which didn’t make it into the Bible. Some fascinating reading here.
http://humaniststudies.org ← A more concentrated study and exploration of secular humanism. Good for those wanting to know more.
This link is for the closest translation of the Torah and entire Tanakh from
the most ancient and thorough Hebrew writings: chabad.org/library/article.asp?AID=63255
Also, the website is user friendly, namely Chabad.Org
No insult is intended when adding that this is the most reliable translation
of the misnomered “Old Testament” available online.
This web site is designed to spread the vicious truth about the Bible. For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called “God” of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children.
I think these websites would be a contribution to this thread. Posting them does not mean I agree with them 100%. For example, I am not a Karaite Jew, and do not hold to any doctrine on baptism.
This one deals with the Unitarian Christians that study the bible:
anyway, i’m a big fan of open source literature. i also found a large cache of islamic philosophy and have the site somewhere. i’ll post it if i find it.
