The user “rununder” is actually the user “Atthet”. I can prove this too, from personal messages. Since “Atthet” was banned, why hasn’t “rununder” been banned?
If a sockpuppet is under a ban no. I am pretty sure that rule is universal. However if a user comes back after the ban is over I am pretty sure, as sure can be they can still post. That said, you can’t really ban anyone anyway, there are always ways and means to come back under any ban and it’s very easy to do. It’s quite hard for the mods to track users, so it might well be that he’s just using some means that makes his IP something other than the original if he is still banned. It’s just not a medium you can really police effectively.
If these sleezy, obsessive stalkers can just come back over and over again, why should I wish to continue to post here?
You can put them on ignore, or as it is called here ‘foe’. you have to identify them or at least recognize the type, so it does slow down the process if they come back with Another name, but it is fairly easy once you realize you do not want to communicate with them to just make them invisible.
Maia and I haven’t sent PM in weeks. Plus she already put me on ignore. She’s just doing this, now, because she’s butt hurt about the magick thread where nobody believed in her dowsing and ritual experiments.

See that’s where the system works, if they just behave the same way as they did before their IP is no defence they will be banned under that IP too, assuming said behaviour is against forum rules, and of course if they are that obvious about it they will identify themselves as a sockpuppet anyway, and if under a ban be banned again. Avoiding being banned assumes that you don’t just then go on to act in the same way you did before, highlighting yourself as whomever you were before. The difficulty of course comes in assessing if x is indeed y, but if x is y who was banned for z, 9/10 they will be banned for z again.
I shouldn’t let people like that get to me I suppose.
Hell I think we all have things that get to us, I think the only people who pretend that nothing gets to them are pople who think they are mercilessly cool for not having an emotional quotient or being virtually Aspergers for having no understanding for emotion, and trolls which are often the same thing, and hence they are the weakest of all, because they are the easiest to wind up, to make angry and to frustrate, the irony is precious, Naricisstic personality disorder that most trolls and so called, oh I am so not caring about things people are the least able to able to take critism of any internet denizen ( because they make every effort to remove themselves from emotion and hence lose the ability to deal), which is of course the ultimate in justice. Trolls do not and can not take criticism at all well, it’s their Achilles heel, it’s almost universally true.
