AN INVINCIBLE ARGUMENT FOR THE AFTERLIFE: CONCLUSION!!!

Hell was created for Satan and his demons

WHO WAS HELL CREATED FOR?

In Matthew 25:41 the Bible says, "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” On the other hand, Matthew 25:33-34 points out that those who choose Christ will “inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” The original purpose of hell and its fire was for the ultimate destruction of Satan, sin, and his angels. Only after this cleaning of fire can all the tears be wiped from the eyes of the saved.

-BibleInfo.com: What Is Hell Like?

In light of other verses in the Bible regarding the difference between the granting of eternal life and perishing (Rom. 6:23; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 1:18, etc.), the wicked are to be destroyed rather than eternally tormented in the fire ‘prepared for the devil and his angels’ . There is no mention in the Bible of humans burning forever.

Indeed Revelations, the last book of the Bible that speaks of the Final Judgment and the sentencing of the unsaved to Hell, ends with a “new Heaven and new Earth” in which “there shall be no more pain”. ‘Heaven and Earth’ in biblical usage is synonymous with the universe, or everything that exists. If there shall be no more pain in a new Heaven and Earth, there is no more pain in existence, thus no small corner of the new universe in which there are people screaming in never-ending, eternal agony.

ETERNAL OBLIVION RATHER THAN ETERNAL TORMENT FOR THE DAMNED

The Bible extensively, in both the Old and New Testaments, states that the wicked will cease to exist by being burned to ash. In the New Testament, there is a dichotomy between the fate of the righteous, which is eternal life, and the fate of the wicked, which is death. If eternal life is reserved only for the righteous, there is no eternal life for the wicked but only Karen Gervais’ version of death:

“[H]uman death, understood as the death of a person, is a state in which the function of consciousness has been irreversibly lost […] The individual’s essence consists in the possession of a conscious, yet not necessarily continuous, mental life; if all mental life ceases, the person ceases to exist; when the person ceases to exist, the person has died” [157-58].

-Gervais, Karen. (1986). Defining Death. New Haven: Yale University Press.

If Universalism is false and eternal life is reserved only for those who have faith in Jesus, Gervais’ definition of death is the final fate of humans consigned to the Lake of Fire.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE WICKED IN HELL?

This may surprise you, but the Bible says in several places that the wicked will be burned up and completely destroyed in hellfire. You heard right, the wicked will not burn forever. Malachi 4:1-5 says that on the day of the Lord, “‘All the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,’ Says the Lord of hosts, 'That will leave them neither root nor branch’…You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet.” Psalms 37:10, 20 also states that the wicked will be no more, they will be carefully looked for but not found. Verse 20 adds that the enemies of the Lord will die and vanish away into smoke. All that is left of the wicked is smoke and ashes, there will not be any part of them left to be tortured forever. All wickedness will be removed from the earth. The root (Satan) as well as the branches (his followers) will become ashes with no more life left in them.

If Universalism is false and there is no eternal torment in Hell for humans, Annihilism (or Annihiliationism)–eternal cessation of consciousness of the wicked–is the order of the day. If Annihilism is true there are two species of human being: Homo Mortus and Homo Immortus.

The Bible depicts (if Universalism is false) a Tragedy in which human beings are divided according to God’s omniscient prevision into two classes or species: The Living and The Dead.

The Living are humans foreseen by God as predestined to immortality–inheriting 'eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord’ (Romans 6:23) through amalgamation or fusion with Christ into a composite being that can no longer transgress the Law (sin). This class of human may be called Homo Immortus.

The Dead, by contrast, are those foreseen by God as predestined to eternal death or cessation of consciousness. This class of human may be called Homo Mortus.

The terms “death”, “die”, or “dead” as used in the New Testament have two senses or meanings depending on the context in which they used. “Death” in the Old Testament generally refers to common human death, though the second meaning of death arguably applies to certain verses in the Psalms of David.

Principally “death” in the New Testament refers to:

a. Biological death

b. Spiritual death

The New Testament uses “death” to secondarily denote biological death. Despite non-religious belief that biological death involves irreversible loss of consciousness, the biblical meaning of biological death is just loss of perception of the biological body and the world in which the body existed.

Bodily Death and Personal Death

Concepts of and criteria for death have changed throughout history. A concept of death purports to tell us what death is, while a criterion for the occurrence of death is the sign or signs by which we determine that a person has reached a state of death. The traditional concept of death was left vague until recently, its criteria involving cardiac and/or respiratory function but without explicit distinction between criteria and concept. More recently, the concept underlying the cardio-pulmonary criterion has been defined as the loss of integrated organic functioning of the body (Lamb, 1985). In the current century there has been a partial shift to a brain criterion, though this is usually added to the cardio-pulmonary criterion rather than replacing it. Death is now often supposed to be determined by the death of the whole brain, or the brainstem, which is responsible for maintaining integrated organic functioning.

A more recent proposal for a brain-criterion is the neocortical criterion (Gervais, 1986).

Where I differ from Gervais is in my understanding of the conditions essential for the loss of the capacity for consciousness and personality. Gervais expresses her particular conception this way:

“[H]uman death, understood as the death of a person, is a state in which the function of consciousness has been irreversibly lost as a result of one of several possible combinations of damage to the brain substratum” [150].

A second statement contends that “[T]he individual’s essence consists in the possession of a conscious, yet not necessarily continuous, mental life; if all mental life ceases, the person ceases to exist; when the person ceases to exist, the person has died” [157-58].

Death of the body or parts of the body concern us only in so far as they bring about the death of our selves. Our selves die when we lose the capacity for conscious thought, i.e., when we can no longer think, feel and express emotions, have desires, form plans, and further our projects.

-Max More, The Terminus of the Self

More’s definition of death–irreversible loss of consciousness–is arguably not an inflexible, universal definition: the term “death” may be shared and defined as Death1: Irreversible loss of consciousness in atheistic belief about the nature of consciousness and the world or Death 2: Loss of consciousness of “this world” and loss of perception of one’s previous body in Judeo-Christian or other religious belief regarding the nature of consciousness and the world.

The New Testament of the Bible is remarkably simple in its philosophy and warning about afterlife fate. In a nutshell, the New Testament notes the inability of man to naturally obey the Law (the Ten Commandments) and the necessity of Jesus Christ in response to this inability to:

(i) Atone for the sins of man through sacrifice of the cross and

(ii) Transform man into a creature that invariably obeys the Law.

The inability or unwillingness to obey the Law, mentality inclined to violate the Law, and the estrangement from or “being on the outs with” God as a consequence of this unwillingness and Law-violating nature, and the psychic pain that arises in beings that possess this nature but do not desire it is the state or condition of the second type of death mentioned in scripture: spiritual death.

What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have known what sin was except through the Law. For I would not have known what coveting was if the Law had not said, “Do not covet.” But sin, seizing the opportunity through the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the Law, sin is dead.

Once I was alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. So I discovered that the very commandment that was meant to bring life actually brought death. For sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through the commandment put me to death.

-Romans 7: 7-8

Though sin put him to death through the commandment, remarkably Paul remained alive to write that sin had put him to death. Given that Paul was not put to biological death by sin and was biologically alive to write the statement means that “death” as Paul used it in this context means something other than biological death. Paul must have intended the second meaning: spiritual death.

Spiritual Death may be defined thus:

Spiritual Death:

1: Having a nature that tends not to obey the Law because one cannot bring oneself to desire or even falsely manufacture the desire to obey the Law or parts of the Law; the experience of emotional resistance to and irritation and revulsion toward the biblical command or prospect of obeying the Law or parts of the Law
2: The psychic pain that arises upon realization one is naturally and habitually in state [1], combined with desire to be free from state [1] and exist in a state in which [1] is impossible (Romans 7:24-25)
3: The state or condition of being separate from God and subject to his wrath in lacking the ability to naturally and invariably obey the Law
4: The state or condition of being separate from Christ in terms of absence of Christ’s possession of a sacrificial replica of one’s mentality of death while dying upon the cross.

Those in the state or condition of spiritual death are termed: “The Dead”. The context in which “the Dead” is used in the New and Old Testament, if it does not obviously refer to those in a state of biological death, commonly and usually refers to those in a state of spiritual death. A person “dead” in the spiritual sense is subject to God’s wrath and intent to destroy (God has no intention to destroy any person in spiritual death state [2]).

The second type of the Dead, the Spiritually Dead, may be defined thus:

The Dead:

1: Those who by nature tend not obey the Law as they cannot bring themselves to genuinely desire to obey the Law, as one experiences resistance, irritation, and revulsion at the biblical command to and concept or prospect of obeying the Law or parts of the Law
2: Those experiencing powerful instinct, drive, or desire to act in opposition to the Law
3: Those experiencing pain and regret for having the nature of [1] and [2]

If Universalism does not exist and eternal torment in Hell is ruled out based on the extensive amount of scriptures stating that the condemned shall perish rather than gain eternal life, even eternal life in eternal torment, the fate of the wicked is eternal cessation of consciousness.

The Bible holds there are two deaths for the wicked as opposed to one death followed by eternal life in torment. The Bible extensively refers to the wicked as “perishing”. To perish is not to eternally live to be eternally tormented but to cease to exist. The dichotomy between “eternal life” and “perishing” is easily revealed in one of the most famous verses of the bible, John 3:16:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

‘Should not perish, but have everlasting life.’ Perishing, then, given the existence of the “but” following the term “perish”, is something other than “having eternal life”. The opposite of eternal life is eternal death, ergo the afterlife involves either the gaining of eternal life or consignment to the Second Death: eternal and irreversible cessation of consciousness, the state of death defined by atheists ironically imposed by an existing God.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

-Revelations 20:10-15

Many traditional or Fundamentalist Christians interpret Revelations 21:14 as death, in terms of the embodiment of death or the ability to die, being thrown into the lake of fire in the verse 14, so that those not found in the book of life when cast into the lake of fire can, like the ‘devil that deceived them’, burn forever in the lake without dying or losing consciousness for all eternity.

But there’s John 3:16.

Considering the existence of John 3:16 in light of Revelations 20:10-15, the Law of Non-Contradiction demands that the second death is eternal oblivion rather than eternal life for those consigned to Revelations 21 verse 15. To uphold the Law of Non-Contradiction, if follows that the ‘death’ of verse 14 is spiritual death and ‘hell’ is the “hell” of the human condition or world, which is rampant with ongoing, generational spiritual death.

‘Death’ and ‘hell’, then, are ‘cast into lake of fire’ in the sense that those possessing spiritual death absent state [2] are destroyed in the lake of fire taking ‘hell’— the “hell” of the human condition—with them, given that worlds are not external, objective objects or places (as there are no mind-independent doppelgangers of the content of visual perception) but only constructs within the mind.

It is believed in certain areas of Christianity that the Second Death of the wicked is eternal death rather than eternal torment, decreed by the doctrine of Annihilationism:

Annihilationism (also known as extinctionism or destructionism) is a belief that after the final judgment some human beings and all fallen angels (all of the damned) will be totally destroyed so as to not exist, or that their consciousness will be extinguished, rather than suffer everlasting torment in hell (often synonymized with the lake of fire).

Annihilationism is directly related to the doctrine of conditional immortality, the idea that a human soul is not immortal unless it is given eternal life. Annihilationism asserts that God will eventually destroy the wicked, leaving only the righteous to live on in immortality. Some annihilationists (e.g. Seventh-day Adventists) believe God’s love is scripturally described as an all-consuming fire, and that sinful creatures cannot exist in God’s presence. Thus those who elect to reject salvation through their free will are eternally destroyed because of the inherent incompatibility of sin with God’s holy character. Seventh-day Adventists posit that living in eternal hell is a false doctrine of pagan origin, as the Wicked will perish in the Lake of fire. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that there can be no punishment after death because the dead cease to exist.

Annihilationism stands in contrast to both the traditional and long-standing belief in eternal torture in the lake of fire, and the belief that everyone will be saved (universal reconciliation or simply “universalism”).

The belief in Annihilationism, has appeared throughout Christian history, but has always been in the minority. It experienced a resurgence in the 1980s when several prominent theologians including John Stott were prepared to argue that it could be held sincerely as a legitimate interpretation of biblical texts (alternative to the more traditional interpretation of them), by those who give supreme authority to scripture.

Earlier in the 20th century, some theologians at the University of Cambridge including Basil Atkinson supported the belief. 20th-century English theologians who favor annihilation include Bishop Charles Gore(1916), William Temple, 98th Archbishop of Canterbury (1924); Oliver Chase Quick, Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury (1933), Ulrich Ernst Simon (1964), and G. B. Caird (1966).

Some Christian denominations which are annihilationist were influenced by the Millerite/Adventist movement of the mid-19th century. These include the Seventh-day Adventists, Bible Students, Christadelphians and the various Advent Christian churches. Additionally, the Church of England’s Doctrine Commission reported in 1995 that “[h]ell is not eternal torment”, but “non-being”. Some Protestant and Anglican writers have also proposed annihilationist doctrines.

Annihilationists base the doctrine on their exegesis of scripture, some early church writing, historical criticism of the doctrine of hell, and the concept of God as too loving to torment his creations forever. They claim that the popular conceptions of hell stem from Jewish speculation during the intertestamental period, belief in an immortal soul which originated in Greek philosophy and influenced Christian theologians, and also graphic and imaginative medieval art and poetry.

For the wages of sin is death…

-Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is…Theanthrochistic death?

If, in a universe in which there is no such thing as the physical (that which is not subjective experience or the substance of subjective experience is some form), subjective experience may be constituted, analogous to David J. Chalmer’s panprotopsychism, of mental or psychic particles. A Judeo-Christian existence or reality composed of psychic particles in a universal domain of Quantum Psychism is ultimately a deterministic machine in which particles making up the mind of God and Man are connected and interact through interconnected Aetherial Brains. This overarching mechanism is the Theanthrochism. If Annihilationism exists, the fate of the wicked within the Theanthrochism is eternal loss of consciousness through eternal disintegration and lack of reintegration of Psycheons, the particles constituting the consciousness of God and man.

In Theanthrochistic Annihilism, there is final, rapid decay of mental particles of the wicked via explosive, rapid decomposition in the Lake of Fire. Aethereons making up the Aetherial Brains of the damned are forced apart into separation through force of the cosmic fire. Fiery, eternal removal of the wicked occurs due to the destructibility and finite number of their Psycheons (as opposed to the infinite number of Psycheons of God, Jesus Christ, and the afterlife righteous), as there are only a finite number of Psycheons that can form the wicked and events of the Sacrificial Dream.

[Author’s Note and addendum to Part 4 of the Afterlife Argument: If Psycheons of God and those rendered immortal by God are as indestructible as Aethereons and do not disintegrate in the Empyraenic Void, they are nevertheless lost in the Void or somehow reclaimed in the Aetherial Brains of God and the saved to form:

  1. A repetitive, cyclic sequence of positive events and interactions repeated over and over in eternal Heaven.

  2. There are an infinite amount of Psycheons that continuously supply the Aetherial Brains of God and the saved with non-repetitive positive experience as former “good”, Psycheons are destroyed in the Empyraenic Void and replaced by new heavenly afterlife Psycheons forming new, non-repetitive heavenly experience.]

If Theanthrochistic Annihilism exists, the wicked—enemies of God foreseen by God as willing and unapologetic executors and external replicators of the murders and torments of Christ in the Sacrificial Dream—are finally set ablaze in the lake of fire (Revelations 21:15) perhaps following a final reckoning in which they are made to experience every instance of pain in the Hell of Retribution.

He who digs a pit will fall into it;
whoever rolls a stone, it will fall back on him.

    -Proverb 26: 27

God, being omnibenevolent, systematically brings about evil’s conclusion by an evolutionary process in which universal production of evil begins to exhaust and is replaced by eternal moral and wonderful God-content. In the process of this slow exhaustion of evil, there is a final production of evil that arises prior to Annihilistic destruction in the Lake of Fire:

The Hell of Retribution is a dystopian netherworld consisting of events obeying the karmic principle of ‘Turnabout Is Fair Play’. The Hell of Retribution is reserved for the expressly wicked and those who unapologetically and unrepentantly persecuted Christ and his human representatives—i.e. every victim of every satanic sacrifice, every murder victim, etc. within external re-enactment of the Sacrificial Dream.

(The term: “expressly wicked” applies to those who murdered and persecuted Christ and Christ-representatives without knowledge of the Sacrificial Dream or their role in the Dream, but are nevertheless incorrigible and unrepentant according to God’s foreknowledge of the damned).

[Curious about the photograph? The photo is part of a series taken during the July 18th, 1982 murder of Robert Berkowitz by his unfaithful girlfriend and her secret lover. The couple dismembered Berkowitz’ body, performed sex acts with the pieces, posed the pieces in humiliating positions, and photographed themselves posing with the corpse in the nude. Empirical proof of the expressly wicked. This is one way to end an undesired relationship, but a “Dear John” letter or conversation would have sufficed.]

The wicked regain consciousness in the Hell of Retribution, finding their consciousness residing in the bodies of each pre-afterlife victim as they are sentenced to wear the form of each victim and die every death previously imposed upon each victim, as the pre-death offender of each pre-afterlife crime is now forced to experience their deeds from the victim’s point of view.

God will repay each person
according to what they have done.

-Romans 2:6

The suffering of the each victim is replayed (only once, as eternal destruction in the Lake of Fire awaits) leading to the same end, with the wicked experiencing that which the victim experienced in a replica of the victim’s body. The perpetrating offender of each re-enactment? A philosopher’s zombie resembling the offender as he or she appeared pre-afterlife. In short, the Hell of Retribution is an entire lifetime of disjointed events, involving chronologically-sequenced “jump cuts” of one’s previous mental and physical predation upon others, with the role of victim and perpetrator reversed.

One is now mentally and physically victimized by the deeds and words of a clone of one’s old self. One now performs “Quantum Leap”-type jumps from one murder victim into another, from one deliberately emotionally traumatized victim to another, as each predatory act against one’s fellow human being was, after all, just a stacking up of karma and wrath in the afterlife.

You store up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath,
when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

-Romans 2:5

Each murder joyously committed is revisited with one now the murdered, by a thing wearing the former form of oneself. Each rape is revisited, the damned wearing the form of the victim, suffering the victim’s experience as one is violently assaulted by a zombie in the form of one’s previous self.

[Note: A philosopher’s zombie is a hypothetical entity that conceptually demonstrates the difference between consciousness and the physical (for those believing the physical exists). It is argued that it is logically and metaphysically possible that there can exist a physical system that appears in the form of a person that can behave and speak as if it is conscious and responding to real-time stimuli, but that completely lacks consciousness. As David Chalmers states: ‘all is dark inside’. As Chalmers notes, a philosopher’s zombie will make all the appropriate motions and responses when approached and solicited by a conscious being.

For example, a conscious being approaches a zombie and asks the zombie about its day. The zombie will return the handshake and energetically with seeming joy recount the “events” of a “very good day”. But from the point of view of the zombie, it did not shake a hand and is not speaking at all: “all is dark inside” as it is not conscious.

A good, “real world” (?) example of the philosopher’s zombie are persons other than oneself in one’s dreams. One is conscious in dreams, but are the persons that appear in one’s dreams conscious? Do they have individual consciousness and subjective point of view as imaginary beings within one’s mind? Is there such thing as Sub-dimensional Consciousness or Consciousness Within Consciousness]

The Hell of Retribution is immediately followed by sentencing to the Lake of Fire. If there is no eternal torment in Hell due to Annihilationism, the consciousness of the former inmate of the Hell of Retribution is burned to non-existence in the cosmic fire.

What conditions are sufficient for Homo Mortus and final fate of Annihilationism?

  1. Lack of the ‘faith in Jesus Christ’ necessary for salvation stated in Romans 3:21-22.

This faith, combined with 1 Peter 2:24 is faith that Christ was ‘raised from the dead’ not just in the single since of resurrection from ‘physical’ death, but ‘raised from the dead’ in the sense of “living among” the dead (spiritually dead) in the sense of sharing and being the ultimate source of the spiritual death of the saved.

  1. The unfortunate psychological natural selection of Disbelief.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me,
thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen,
and yet have believed.

-John 20:29

He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

-John 11:25

The saved are those who, by grace of God and as seen in his omniscient foreknowledge, believe or eventually come to believe (1). There is a tragedy to existence in the form of a psychological natural selection in which there are those who cannot believe or come to believe (1) and as a result are Homo Mortus. Those that are Homo Mortus and eventual participants of Annihilationism are spiritually dead, but are spiritually dead in the sense that they are not nor wish to be spiritually dead in the second definition.

  1. Those who are participants of the predatory, malicious aspects of the Sacrificial Dream

Participants of the predatory aspects of the Sacrificial Dream are anyone who deliberately and maliciously violates the Golden Rule in the mind of Jesus Christ as he died upon the cross, which are re-enacted in the outside world (the minds of those outside the mind of Jesus Christ) by the deliberate evils committed throughout human history and future until the end of man. Humans who unapologetically and deliberately violate the Golden Rule have been seen within the mind of Christ as he died upon the cross, as they are essentially committing the unapologetic evil upon him. These form the population of Homo Mortus whose eventual and unanimous fate is to be cast into the Lake of Fire and cease to exist.

For the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

-Romans 6:23

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve
through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ.

-2 Corinthians 11:3

The Apostle Paul wasn’t kidding when he used the phrase: ‘the simplicity that is in Christ’.

If Judeo-Christian theology exists and is the state of actual existence, gaining eternal life is remarkably simple: Jesus grants it in the afterlife to those with the Divine Spark under two Conditions:

  1. By the omniscient foreknowledge and will of God, one comes to believe in the Sacrificial Dream and that one has in actuality done nothing in previous life (in terms of one’s sins) but re-enact Christ’s role within the Dream.

(For an introduction and explanation of the Sacrificial Dream and justification for all sins it provides see: The Sacrificial Dream Hypothesis (Parts 1-3) in the I Love Philosophy: Religion and Spirituality section)

  1. If one possesses the Divine Spark (possession of conscience and empathy and the fundamental desire not to do or be evil regardless of whether or not one is non-Christian, atheist, etc.) and if one is not instantaneously healed immediately upon physical death as a member of the Firstfruits (those who obtain Conditions 1 and 2 prior to physical death): one will awaken in the afterlife in the area known as The Bosom of Abraham (The Sacrificial Dream Hypothesis-Part 3) to:

(i) Be taught the true nature of existence (in which God reasons with the person concerning the nature of existence, as it is logically gleaned from one’s afterlife circumstances that the Judeo-Christian God exists and reality operates according to his entropic influence. The Author argues that this conversation will primarily involve God and atheists having the Divine Spark, as most of the dead in the Bosom of Abraham believes in the existence of God.)

(ii) Learn of the Sacrificial Dream and one’s role in it

(iii) Wait to be healed by Jesus like the multitude of blind, lame, deaf, and those afflicted by disease on the physical plane 2000 years ago in the Gospels.

Question: Wait to be healed by Jesus in the afterlife? Healed of what, given there is probably no physical deformity in the afterlife?

Answer: Healed of this:

For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from within; they are what pollute you and make you unfit for God.

-Mark 7:21-23

Evil may be physically and verbally expressed, but ultimately it comes from within as an inward, private, mental and emotional experience prior to outward manifestation or ‘symbolization’ in the form of physical or verbal behavior. Can a person using one’s own power and will stop the experience of evil? Can one prevent the mental phenomena of Mark 7:21-23 from popping unexpectedly and unwillingly into being, from arising within oneself for the remainder of one’s life by sheer force of will?

Do you, reader, have the power to never again feel or think the things mentioned in Mark 7:21-23? Can you stop yourself from having inward experience of these evils? It does not matter that you have the power to outwardly and physically behave as if you did not mentally and emotionally possess or that you are not currently mentally and emotionally possessing these entities. Do you have power to cause yourself to never again experience the evils of Mark 7:21-23?

Can you speak or think the command—

“At this moment and upon this command, for the remainder of my life, I shall never again inwardly experience evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.”

—with the evils of Mark 7:21-23, The Inner Darkness, The Internal Darkness, The Inner Dark, The Internal Dark, The Enemy Within, The Devil Inside, The Inner Demon, etc.—the internal monster that ruins relationships and is the source of all crime and evil —actually heeding and obeying your command to never again appear?

Jesus answers this question in another context:

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

-Matthews 19:23-26

Note the disciples did not ask “How can the rich man be saved?” or “How can rich men be saved?” as if the ‘go[ing] of the camel through the eye of a needle applied only to rich persons and not those who mentally experience the evils of Mark 7:21-23, but asked “Who then can be saved?”

They deduced, arguably, that rich man and his inner life, in terms of his mental and emotional desire to keep his wealth and unwillingness to give to others is a microcosm, a small part of the whole of inner life that makes one unfit for the kingdom of God according to Mark 7:21-23. Not only is it easier for rich men to fit through the eye of a needle than enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but easier for those who naturally, instinctively, and habitually experience the inner mental and emotional life of the phenomena of Mark 7:21-23.

It may be argued, then, that the disciples made this further induction from the example of the rich man and realized that this existing, unstoppable and uncontrollable aspect of human existence pollutes and disqualifies man from eternal life.

The induction rationally prompts the question: “Who then can be saved?” as opposed to “How can rich men be saved?” or “Why can’t rich men be saved?” in response to Jesus’ statement concerning rich men and the eye of a needle.

Jesus answers the question of whether or not humans have the power to rid themselves of the Inner Darkness with the statement:

With man this is impossible…

Christ then completes the statement with the key to riddance of the Inner Darkness:

”…but with God all things are possible."

-Matthew 19:26

Jesus’ statement may be taken as an affirmation of God’s omnipotence, but if one metaphorically soars through the clouds of the statement to look upon the planet hiding beneath its atmosphere the phrase: “with God” more likely implies something more than a blanket statement of omnipotence, given the context of the conversation prior to the phrase. Using the context of how difficult it is for a rich man (and by inductive extension, those having the Inner Darkness) to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, and how it is impossible for humans based on their own will and effort to suppress the Inner Dark to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, the phrase “with God” arguably implies that human beings must be “with God”—most logically in the sense of mentally merging with God—to be rid of the Devil Within (the phenomena of Mark 7:21-23) and fit for the Kingdom of God.

To be fit for the Kingdom of God…one must become Deuterium.

Free neutrons disintegrate in minutes. To be able to hang around
for billions of years so that they could later join with protons in
making chemical elements in stars, neutrons had to be bound in
deuterons and other light nuclei where energetics prevented their decay.

-Victor J. Stenger, Humans, Cockroaches, and the Laws of Physics

Deuterons are the atoms of Deuterium, which consist of a neutron and a proton. As Stenger states, free neutrons disintegrate in minutes. In order to last for billions of years, a neutron must bind with a proton to form a deuteron, the nucleus of deuterium (the nucleus is the atom in this case, as a deuteron or deuterium atom consists only of a single neutron and proton.

The deuteron, composed of a proton and a neutron, is a stable particle. As an atom, it is called deuterium and as an isotope of hydrogen it has an abundance of 1.5 x 10-4 compared to 0.99985 for ordinary hydrogen. It’s stability is remarkable since the free neutron is unstable, undergoing beta decay with a halflife of 10.3 minutes. The measured binding energy of the deuteron is 2.2 MeV.

If the neutron in the deuteron were to decay to form a proton, electron and antineutrino, the combined mass energies of these particles would be 2(938.27 MeV) + 0.511 MeV = 1877.05 MeV.

But the mass of the deuteron is 1875.6 MeV, implying that upon energy grounds, it is stable against such a decay. The free neutron yields an energy of 0.78 MeV in beta decay, but the 2.2 MeV binding energy of the deuteron prevents its decay.

The stability of the deuteron is an important part of the story of the universe. In the Big Bang model it is presumed that in early stages there were equal numbers of neutrons and protons since the available energies were much higher than the 0.78 MeV required to convert a proton and electron to a neutron. When the temperature dropped to the point where neutrons could no longer be produced from protons, the decay of free neutrons began to diminish their population. Those which combined with protons to form deuterons were protected from further decay. This is fortunate for us because if all the neutrons had decayed, there would be no universe as we know it, and we wouldn’t be here!

-Hyperphysics.org, Particles: The Deuteron

To gain eternal life, in the same way free neutrons in the early universe would have gone extinct without protons to preserve their lives for all time, a human being (a “free neutron”) must be psychologically bound with Jesus Christ (“The Proton”) to form a “Spiritual Deuteron” or “Spiritual Deuterium”: the stable particle of eternal life.

To wit:

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together[…]

Ephesians 2:4-6

In Abraham’s Bosom Jesus, in the same way he made the lame to walk, the blind to see, the deaf hear, and removed leprosy and other diseases from humans by the laying on of hands, heals the inhabitants of Abraham’s Bosom of the final disease: The Inner Darkness.

At the conclusion of the healing process, Christ then psychologically enters the person, infusing himself into the person to drive out every scrap, jot and tittle, every stray “atom” of the ability to experience the phenomena of Mark 7:21-23— permanently and irrevocably merging with the person to form a composite individual that is a psychological amalgamation of the person and Jesus Christ.

“He hath quickened us with Christ…”

Or:

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

-Ephesians 2: 14-16

And lest we forget:

“…neutrons had to be bound in Deuterons…where energetics prevented their decay”

-Victor Stenger

(Note: The “cross” in Eph. 2:16 arguably refers to both the “cross of crucifixion” and “the cross” in terms of the final psychological amalgamation between man and Christ to “make the two one” and present themselves “in this one body” to God through “the cross” in terms of a “crossing of minds”. Either way, it may be logically and substantially argued that, in light of verse 4, the verses speak of the Two Conditions for eternal life simultaneously despite weighing heavily upon the First Condition.)

This psychic merging with Christ transforms the person into a psychological ubermensch, a being incapable of instantiating, even for a second, the dark side of human nature.

These beings, these “Christ-Man Deuterons” answer the question: “What prevents someone allowed into Heaven from sinning in Heaven?”

Only when an individual is transmuted into Spiritual “Deuterium” does the individual gain eternal life, the inability to physically or spiritually die. Only then does the individual achieve the second biblical meaning of “Life”.

The terms “life”, “live”, or “living” as they appear in the New Testament—like death—have two meanings depending upon the context in which they used.

The term “life”, “lived”, “living” in the New Testament, therefore, may refer to:

a. biological life

or

b. spiritual life

1a: the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body
b: a principle or force that is considered to underlie the distinctive quality of animate beings
c: an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction

1: having a nature that naturally and unthinkingly obeys the Law without conscious awareness or mindfulness that one obeys the law; obeying the Law without conscious, fastidious effort to obey the Law
1a: conscious and fastidious effort to obey the Law for the purpose of preventing another from experiencing emotional or physical pain (i.e. obeying the Law against one’s nature for altruistic reason independent of fear or ego): i.e. an altruistic, practical manifestation of the Divine Spark
2: one having one’s spiritual death or mentality of death “possessed” by Christ prior to one’s existence on earth, in Christ’s mind while Christ is crucified upon the cross (i.e. The Sacrificial Dream); having a fate in which one mimics the “spiritual death” of Christ under the illusion or false belief (until one gains the Saving Knowledge that leads to Saving Faith in physical life or Abraham’s Bosom) it one’s own spiritual death
3: the state or condition of invariably and immutably obeying the Law completely bereft of the Inner Dark or the mental and emotional phenomena of Mark 7:21-23
3a: the inability to sin
3b: the impossibility of sin (ex: the impossibility of sin of God, Christ, angels, the Firstfruits and those healed of the Inner Dark by Jesus in Abraham’s Bosom)

The Living:

1: Those foreseen by God’s omniscience as gaining salvation through inextricable mimicry of the “spiritual death” of Christ and sustaining the saving faith in Jesus in terms of the dual aspects of mimicry of the “death” of Christ and faith in Jesus to transform and amalgamate with oneself to form a composite being that cannot sin (Ephesians 2:5-6; 10; 14-15)
2: Those exhibiting the state or condition of having the Divine Spark (i.e. the ability to naturally and unthinkingly obey the Law intermittently despite being under the usual condition of Death2)
3: Those exhibiting the state or condition of invariably and immutably obeying the Law, completely bereft of the Inner Dark
4: Those having an inability to sin
4a: Those for whom it is impossible to sin

To gain eternal life, one must become one of the Living.

To become the Living, one must meet the Two Conditions of Justification through participation in the Sacrificial Dream and healing of the Inner Darkness either immediately upon death or after re-education concerning the nature of existence in Abraham’s Bosom. During the process of the Second Condition, one is psychologically (and essentially) merged with Christ into a new composite being that is a psychological amalgamation of the individual and Jesus Christ (biblical proof: Ephesians 2:5-6; 10; 14-15)

This merging with Christ for the purpose of eternally and irrevocably cleansing one of and providing eternal inability to sustain the psychological phenomena of Mark 7:21-23, and one transforming into a spiritual being for whom physical death or cessation of consciousness is impossible, is metaphorically illustrated by the early universe process of saving the extinction of neutrons being saved from extinction through their binding with protons to gain the “eternal life” found in the formation of deuterium.

To gain eternal life, human beings—the “free neutrons” of Judeo-Christian theology— being existentially unstable must decay unless they merge with Christ to become Christirium (the term henceforth for “Spiritual Deuterium”)—the molecule of eternal life.

This concludes the ‘Invincible Argument For An Afterlife’. The segment introducing Psyexistism, an explanation of the simplest of all forms of existence, was cut due to text space. I will have to make a new thread in the Philosophy Section of ILP for Psyexistism for those interested or table it for my last and final work: “THE SERMON”.

Nevertheless, everything reduces to belief and faith in the objective existence of that which, as a concept, is conceived to lie outside the current artificial reality that is current, pre-death human consciousness and experience. The old saying—

To those that believe no explanation is necessary
To those that do not no explanation is possible

—is true, and perhaps shall always hold sway for those on “this” side of the grave. The most a proponent of Judeo-Christian theology and afterlife can do, in the end, is provide argument that successfully reveals the logical and metaphysical possibility of God and the afterlife. The logical possibility of God and the afterlife has unexpected allies in the Seven Reasonings below, that are the underpinnings of our knowledge of the world and the cornerstones of honest rather than dishonest philosophy.
