Triumph of Human reason

I see that we might be moving into a direction where reason itself is turning into a blind faith, driven by selfish and prideful motives. Reason gave humans power over their fears, and thus removed their sense of humility and clouded its sense of balance, to the point where it has become tunnel visioned, selfish, and even arrogant. With this new tool, human life itself, no matter how weak or decrepid, has become the new god and the ultimate judge of things; but every time its interests are promoted and advanced, greater natural order gets ignored. Have we not achieved the maximum leverage already? Will we ever stop, or will we keep going until the lever breaks?

Ironically, it is the religions that have preserved the ancient wisdoms, a sense of humility before the natural order (or as they call it, god). Today, for example, religious parents who refuse medical treatment for their children express this ancient sentiment of humility and one’s “proper place” in the greater scheme of things. But for such rebellion against the so called might of human reason they are labeled as archaic and cruel. But the rest of humanity, the weaker part of it that was produced out of such selfish motives, is today even at the point of turning on itself and exploiting this same myopic selfish standard, as seen in others, for its own personal gain. Weakness feeding on weakness. Is it not surprising that human life is also compared to cancer?

Can one cheat natural order (or god/s) and not be later cursed for it? Is this not the vision and the new faith? Who has the final say in this story? In that respect I might concede that ancient human sacrifices by primitives had a more clear and balanced vision of reality. But will our Prometheus or Jesus be enough to cover our indiscretions? I think not. And so how much of a (real) blood price do we owe now at this point to survive the next big calamity?

One definition of reason is that it is part of the anatomy of sanity.

People who deny reason are often unreasonable as they see it as something counter to their beliefs.
AE : Reason is seen as an enemy by the semi-insane.

The OP reminds me some interesting debates held in Vancouver between Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson with Eric Weinstein moderating on Youtube where the topic is the wisdom of ancient religious texts. Have you seen them?

Lol, have you tried reasoning with a liberal-lefty lately?

Have you tried reasoning with an anti-Trump democrat?

As-if Pandora can be reasoned with?

There is no humility in Faith. Reason leads to wisdom. Wisdom leads to humility. With enough reasoning, you can undo and destroy any premise, any preposition, any belief, any faith. Reason is destructive, not constructive.

Faith feel no humility because they lack the reason to know why they're wrong. Those who are faithful, are told to be humble, but are not so. Humility requires humiliation. And humiliation only comes after you learn exactly how and why, you were wrong.

Those who lack reason, cannot be wrong.

So, you find pro-Trump Republicans more reasonable?

You're pro-reason. Great. Then, consider the possibility that the above propositions demonstrate over-generalization.

What we are witnessing is an excessive masculinization of our lives. Society is increasingly becoming more robotic and violent. Males are turning towards transsexualism to escape these masculine ideals.

Hospitals are devoid of the feminine care. Nurses don't even give sex to people who need it. Prostitution is banned. Witches are banned, instead replaced with therapists and pills. It is even considered taboo to even call a woman beautiful. Everyone is told to follow the rules, and never display their real emotions, like a robot.

When the Northern Native Americans fell that is when this Masculinization began. No longer connected to Higher Nature or the Spirit. Everything industrialized, more machine than man.

Everything, in America, is done for money. Its all about status and being rich. The health care system, politicians, all bought out corporate and masculine. Emotions are not allowed in the workplace. All people care about is money and status and productivity. They are machines.

People are turning away from vaccines. They are sick of masculine women and men telling them the logic and reason of why it is logical and rational. The Truth, Nature, is in their hearts. The truth is some people get sick from vaccines. And people know in their hearts a Spirituality. Knowing a divinity higher than Man. This is not the Jewish God, Yahweh. They know that the true god is Female, Mother Nature a feminine divinity. And that vaccines are not needed anymore. They have served their purpose, got rid of smallpox, and we no longer need them. And that the masculine Yahweh is a scam. And never to trust the government, men in suits, or the so called health industry. It is better to trust older ladies, who eat wholesome and organic foods.
