“You can kill the body but not the spirit.”

For intuitive and critical discussions, from spirituality to theological doctrines. Fair warning: because the subject matter is personal, moderation is strict.

“You can kill the body but not the spirit.”

Robert Louis Stevenson

9 meaningless words ... or ... simple truth.

About 125 million casualties of war in the 20th century alone ... some as a result of aggression ... some as a result of resistance to aggression ... 50-50 ???

Despite the number of wars and horrific number of human casualties ... the "spirit" of resistance seems alive and well today.
"Do not be influenced by the importance of the writer, and whether his learning be great or small; but let the love of pure truth draw you to read. Do not inquire, “Who said this?” but pay attention to what is said”

Thomas Kempis 1380-1471
