Because he’s used to negociating with business people. Not Starbucks asshole corporatist businessmen, but actual businessmen. In other words, he’s used to negociating with reasonable people.
In a truly corporate business world yes, people talk openly and clearly, and they are also surprisingly kind… which is why I am having trouble finding my niche in the Political world.
Now I can understand why the David Miliband’s of this world leave politics to go back to the familiar normalcy of business, and leave the Ed Miliband’s of this world to lead political parties.
