On The Road To World War III

Here in this thread we’ll be monitoring geo political events and activities that could possibly be the implication for creating a world war. At the moment I’ll be focusing on Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Ukraine, Iran, Turkey, and North Korea as these are areas of much heated inflection points of international geopolitics now.

We’ll start off with Turkish armed forces purging Syrian Kurds in the region of Afrin.

United States naval destroyers and carriers in route to Syrian coast currently. This could get real ugly very fast.

First comes initial point of attack and conflict.

Next nuclear counter measures are initiated…

This sounds like Deja Vu, have we not heard something like this before? Looks like the witch hunt for Assad is on. I mean, does anyone really believe that Assad is really so dumb as to use chemical weapons? This just shows that Trump is just another puppet.

Maybe someone ought to give “His Excellency” Mr. Uzumcu a call … regarding that medal.

2 friends of mine, and their daughters who came here about 2 years ago as refugees are supposed to leave Sunday to fly into Beirut and then take a car to Aleppo to visit the husband’s parents. His dad is sick and they’re worried that he’s going to die soon so they want to go there and take the kids and see him before he passes. He’s got to sell 2 houses and a small apartment building that he still has there so that he can come back here and pay his mortgage and he wants to open a coffee/hookah bar with Arabic food. They planned on landing in Beirut, then driving to Damascus and through Homs to get to Aleppo while avoiding the worst of the war zone. In the morning when they wake up, they’re going to see that missiles have bombarded metro Damascus and Homs. Now there’s no way for them to get to Aleppo without passing through a place that’s been heavily bombed in the last 4 or 5 hours. What’s going to happen to them? At first we were worried about crossing back over the border upon their return. Then we were worried about the chemical weapons but not so much because of the route they were taking to Aleppo. Now that route is at the center of the most recent compaign of air strikes. I kind of hope that they decide not to go, but he needs to sell his properties and see his dad before he dies, and his wife needs to see her family too. The wife’s mother was recently held in limbo for over a month while coming back into Syria from a trip to Germany and for weeks no one could get in touch with her until she was processed through a bunch of red tape and released to go back to her home. The kids are 4 and 8 years old. The wife is a hairdresser, the husband sold and installed carpets and got rents from a few small apartments he owned. Yesterday I was giving them cash to pick me up souvenirs. Crazy stuff.

Pandora, I’m far from a Trump supporter, and I’m certainly against war inasmuch as it can be avoided, and I don’t claim to know who’s behind the chemical attacks, but they are in fact real. Someone is flying over places in Syria in helicopters and releasing chemicals that are killing people.

Why would Assad use chemical weapons against his own people? Here’s reasoning provided by Washington Post (from last year):

google.com/amp/s/www.washin … y-syrians/

So, according to WP’s logic, Assad is willing to kill innocent children and have it being broadcasted worldwide, in order to send a message to potential rebels, [really?!], and damned be the West and its reaction (even as the fates of Hussein and Gaddafi’s have not yet faded from collective memory). But I wonder if the comments about having nothing to lose and everything to gain, as well as being impatient before raking in the billions of dollars may have actually been Freudian slips, because to me, Assad has a lot more to lose than win with violence in Syria than the West.

Didn’t Syrian civil war start after Assad turned down Qatar/Saudi pipeline proposal and chose the Iran/Iraq pipeline? Maybe we should start looking there for real reasons for these chemical attacks.

A good lesson in history. What does being “a friend” even mean is global politics?

We can take a guess

Independent Swiss Lab Says ‘BZ Toxin’ Used In Skripal Poisoning; US/UK-Produced, Not Russian

Russia Has “Irrefutable Evidence” UK Staged Syrian Chemical Attack

The entire world knows that Assad is not that stupid (he is a doctor and ophthalmologist) so as to gas women and children at the very moment he is winning the war in Syria…launching a chemical weapons strike for shits and giggle, moments after Trump announced a US pullout from Syria.

In this world of digital hyper interactive propaganda and social engineering we are coming to exist in a post-truth world in that facts, skepticism, reality, or truth doesn’t matter. In fact all have become irrelevant in the post truth/ post reality era. No, we are living in this world now where we’re told to accept everything that comes from authority or accepted ‘legitimate’ institutions verbatim whether it is real/isn’t matters not but instead where whom the information comes from.

International evidence in the creation of international responses, verifications, and consensus is what? CNN, Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter? And who controls and regulates all of that? Who oversees the overseers?

Kims offer: its as shallow as ever, the only remedy nothing new, not abandoning nukes, but sustaining some moratorium, with indefinite conditional duration, bit stressing his increasing importance as a nuclear state.

I think it’s axiomatic that as a country not half the size of some US states, has little importance apart from his alliances , which vastly increase his regionally apparent stature in a one to one with Trump
I can’t believe the optical delusion that anyone could even begin to buy this fabrication.
