### Air quality, China trade -huge problem, and short term gain

We are killing ourselves deliberately!
With all the wisdom underlying our legal system, our society is unable or unwilling to change course from intentional planet wide suicide.

Are we willing to collapse under the weight of determinism's ultimate folding up to individual will' s insurance on a life saving revolt against this ego ridden , abject compulsion- dening one of the most fundamental testament ever handed down through the annals of time?

In particular, our normal level of carbon dioxide in the air stands at .04% of the atmosphere, most of it caused by our wasteful transportation nightmare of singular driving through the air conditioned nightmares of our dying civilization.

Now Trump is just merely a remarkable signpost of secondary curtailment of China becoming a prototypical carbon copy of U.S. levels of consumerism, with Dr I ing this and that, people afraid to walk around, for fear of being socio economically branded as some member of an undefined underclass.
If you were to say I am raving, yes I an raving mad, I'm how ling, cause the best minds of civilization are more likely be thrown unto the pure of burnings, indiscriminate, so as to prevent refueling the fire of live for the natural objects of our admiration, our heads the books, of evil, which cry out to 7th heaven for a need for immediate action.

China with a population into the many billions, can generate a market for cars, much in excess of the present world demand dictates it, and it only takes a doubling of car on dioxide to make breathing air intolerable and dangerous.

Yes, Trump is right to cut Chinese economic progress down , so as to delay the certain erosion of our natural en ironment, whatever other reasons begut this incentive, but it is not conservation of natural resources to be sure, as his condemnation of the Kyoto agreement resulted in a U.S. exit from that. It is the opposite, the conservation of U.S. primacy on capitalizing on the sustenance of U.S. capital on world wide assets, and control of.
Such denial , will not estopp, the world from unintelligeability, the ability to god god instant gratification in an increasingly hedonistic world, more typical of the animal nature unto we are quite suddenly reducing into, thanks to Mr. Darwin, who is really a criminal mind, alongside all other nihilist, including Mr Nietzsche!
Long live Kant, Leibnitz, and all the other counter revolutions who have gleaned the king term merit of the promise of the ideal works, who dared to say, against much stygmatism that if god did not exist, he should, MUST be created, as it has already.
The greed for more will be punished, as it already is, as everyone is holding their breath for the coming of the SINGULARITY, as it is biblically foretold, and it is time to start practicing the Yogic control of breath, to still retain sone measure of lucidity of Nature's object, of human nature in this univetse. The Apple has been plucked, and the serpent uncoils, as the Chinese dragon awakens.

### Re: Air quality, China trade -huge problem, and short term g

the shear stupidity of the White house and the GOP
cannot be measured in short term but in terms of
decades........in Georgia, anti-abortion laws give women
less right over their bodies then dead people...you can't take organs from
dead people without their written consent, even if it will save lives....
When you outlaw abortions, you're allowing women less bodily autonomy

and this type of insane thinking by the right is what is causing
this country permanent damage.....

when ism's and ideology is allowed to create policy instead
of common sense... now Iam will comment on the fact that
common sense is a "to each his own" depending upon their
own given ism or ideology which is base upon their childhood
indoctrinations.... but, and this is important....
the shear hypocrisy of the right is the difference...…

for example, the right say their are pro-life but they have gutted
the programs that is targeted for children to have medical care and food
and shelter... how can you be pro-life and terminate programs which
keep children alive, healthy and strong?

or how can you be pro-life and support the death penalty?

the reason the right does this is because their values are not
values which are about people's lives...….. the right values
money... they worship the god Mammon and all he stands for....
the only object the right honors is green pieces of paper in your wallet....

so if this is true, we can easily see what programs and projects
the right will support.... it is easy to cut air quality programs if
you pray to Mammon and thus are being anti-human...
it is easy to cut programs to help children to survive if
your only value is money.... it is easy to demolish
social programs which help and aid people to survive
if your only value is money... the entire china trade issue is
driven by money, who will make it and everyone else be damned....

it is easy to demonize people from another culture trying to make
better lives for themselves by immigrating to the U.S if, if
the point of our lives is to make money... to put children in
concentration camps to make money is what the GOP and the right is all about....
if they were actually pro-life as they claim, they wouldn't throw children as young
as a year old into concentration camps...…

everything the right does, they do for and about money... no other value
exists for them... they are not pro-life.. quite the opposite, they are
anti-life and anti-American for their values are not the values that American's
lived for and died for in war after war after war...….

which is another brick in the wall, for to demand security before all else
is to demand that we forsake other values like democracy and freedom
and honor and justice and hope...… which is the second driver
of the right, fear... they fear in their very own homes....
which is why they want guns and security systems and they are ok
with the police shooting people.....

so, you can guess the GOP policy by understanding their
are driven by two factors, money and fear..... if you understand
that, you completely understand what drives the right and you
can tell which policies they support and which policies they are against.....

the right/GOP will support any policy if it is about money or security..
freedom and justice and honesty and all those "American" values
are ignored if it doesn't fit into making money or having security.....

so when asking yourself, what does the right/GOP support?
think about the money or about the fear.

that is all that drives the right/GOP, or all they care about...
money or fear...…

To see how and why China is such a strong contender to beat the U.S. behemoth of technical applications to social issues, ( transportation), :

I think that's right, conservatives are weary of so called in American trends, and they crave the white pocket fence, Doris Day types ( bless her soul passed yesterday) , the glory of suburbs, and lasting images of well being and belonging.
Trump's neo Kantian transcendental ideal, doesent mesh at all with the hybrid China's imminance, and they are wisely countering imperial design by the above film, pre ferring advanced design , ahead of its time, in a mass cultural subjective-objective of that makes sense.
The reason Trump is invading the economy, again in terms of hypocracy and contradiction( waging economic war, at a time when the Chinese hold investment paper to the tune of many trillions-which could badly disrupt the world economy, is, because China is no open investment territory on our terms. They are fixed as we are variable, making speculative efforts prevy on their control, negating the faire out of lassiez.

In fact, their world map is seen through a magnifying glass whose focus is merely regional controlling interest.

They need an imminent planning for the multitudes, and this is why their trains are so far ahead, unfettered by pork barrel graft . Remener even the Soviet communists were reluctant to engage them.

They have no fear to speak of . because they are not attached to consumerism capital as the West is. They are great gamblers because they are unafraid to loose.

Coincidentally, in the opinion of many liberal thinkers, our China policy is failing :

"China is now an adversary of the United States. A wise U.S. policy should treat it as one. But it should also do everything possible to keep it from becoming an enemy,” Bret Stephens writes, in the column I mentioned above. “How do we gradually deflect and deflate the ambitions of an immense rival power, without quite bursting them? That will be America’s central geopolitical challenge for years to come.”

Today, the Trump administration cancelled bullet train's grant of $929 million to California, citing the state's failure to meet construction deadlines, ending federal-state partnership on the project. Does it take rocket science to figure Trump's dislike of California politics? This is how international co-operation is loosely disengaged from the arena of co-operative competition on more than just commercial considerations. This may be another example if mixed massages to placate the fans of material base of U.S. economic sovereignty and dominance. Alienation as a consequence, built on the premise, that the political implications of World Capitalism has been secured with Communism's fall, the less then secure outlook to peaceful commercial competition, v.s. laissez faire, is secure in the Asian hybred commercial theatre of faux duplex, goulash capitalism. If the intent may be deemed an export of an equally dangerous faux war, of an under lying material concern, then the wag-the-dog scenario may be as implicit as the almost explicit declaration of war with Iran. Remember the premise used by Japanese, to declare war on the U.S. during the second world war, of the Steel Embargo imposed upon her at that time. Intentions can be certainly total constructions based on linear communications of national interest , or , deliberate instigation and expressions of overt challenges. Trump issued a new directive Friday giving Japan and the European Union six months to renegotiate their trade deals with the U.S. Toshifumi Kitamura | Getty Images Toyota Motor said President Donald Trump's latest move in the administration's international trade war was a "major setback" for American consumers, shows the company's investments in the U.S. are "not welcomed" and that contributions from its American employees are "not valued." Trump issued a new directive Friday giving Japan and the European Union six months to renegotiate their trade deals with the U.S. so that the "American automobile industry, its workforce, and American innovation" are protected. The Japan automaker's comments Friday come after the White House said U.S.Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer will "address the threatened impairment" of national security from auto imports. "Our operations and employees contribute significantly to the American way of life, the U.S. economy and are not a national security threat," Toyota said in a statement. EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom also denounced Trump's comments, saying "we completely reject the notion" that Europe's car exports are a national security threat. Toyota said it has been "deeply engrained" in the U.S. for more than 60 years and has invested over$60 billion in the country, employing more than 475,000 Americans.

Toyota added that "history has shown" that limiting imports of vehicles and parts is "counterproductive in creating jobs, stimulating the economy and influencing consumer buying habits." The automaker said auto tariffs would reduce consumer choice and even impact American automakers because vehicle parts used for manufacturing in the U.S. come from various countries.

"If import quotas are imposed, the biggest losers will be consumers who will pay more and have fewer vehicle choices," Toyota said.

The White House did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment.

Read Toyota's full statement:

Today's Executive Proclamation is a major set-back for American consumers, workers and the auto industry.

Toyota has been deeply engrained in the U.S. for over 60 years. Between our R&D centers, 10 manufacturing plants, 1,500-strong dealer network, extensive supply chain and other operations, we directly and indirectly employ over 475,000 in the U.S., and have invested over $60 billion in this country, including over$1 billion in philanthropic and community-outreach efforts.

Today's proclamation sends a message to Toyota that our investments are not welcomed, and the contributions from each of our employees across America are not valued.

We have been a leader in R&D through open-sourcing of patents in critical technologies such as fuel cells, hybrid electrification and continue to be transparent and collaborative with our innovations. Our goal is to develop technologies that help society and contribute to sustaining the economy and jobs in the U.S. We continue to innovate in areas of AI, autonomous and robotics technologies that will further contribute and improve our American society.

Most every American has a Toyota story and we are very proud of the fact that over 36 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles are still on U.S. roads today. Our operations and employees contribute significantly to the American way of life, the U.S. economy and are not a national security threat.

History has shown that limiting import vehicles and parts is counterproductive in creating jobs, stimulating the economy and influencing consumer buying habits. These artificial limitations would reduce consumer choice and impact all automakers since vehicle parts used in U.S. manufacturing are sourced from around the globe. If import quotas are imposed, the biggest losers will be consumers who will pay more and have fewer vehicle choices.

Wow Meno you definitely benefit from meditation. Your writing style is far more clear now. And one can imminently appreciate where you come from.

It is pretty fcin radical to call Darwin a criminal mind but radical can be good.

Just, I will object, why hail Kant if the dude completely failed at creating God? Kant is so weak, so miserly. His golden rule or whatever, don't treat others as you don't want to be treated, isn't enough, one should treat others better than one should expect to be treated oneself. Because, criminals are usually people who have been abused. Gotta turn the cycle some way.

For China, Tesla is opening a giga-factory there to reduce pollution (by making enormous profits hopefully) but this will really only work if we go back to nuke energy to charge batteries. Otherwise fossil fuels still charge the batteries.
It is true that liberty is precious; so precious that it must be carefully rationed.
